Post Gameweek 38.

With things being so interesting with the title race and the Top 4 race, now would be an interesting time to see predictions.

Mine are as follows:

1) Man City
2) Liverpool
3) Spurs
4) Arsenal
5) Man United
6) Chelsea (EL Winners)

At the start of the season I had us in fifth ahead of Arsenal with Chelsea in fourth, so worse than I predicted but not that surprising. The top three is in the order I expected.

Liverpool have made it through their last difficult fixture unscathed and can probably rest a few in the CL next week - I expect them to win all their remaining league games and overhaul City now.

Spurs look to have had a lift from the new stadium and are in my view the best side outside the top two. Arsenal have the easiest run in and should be ok for fourth.

Our form is the worst of the top 6 and we look likely to drop a lot of points in the final five games. Chelsea are also pretty poor, though - perhaps 5th/6th will be decided at Old Trafford - I have a feeling they will win that.

What happens if whoever finishes 5th & 6th (United & Chelsea for example) win Champo league and Europa League does that mean 6 PL teams in the champions league next year? How would it work?

No, a maximum of 5 places per league, so if that happened, the 4th placed team drops into Europa.

No. 5 is the maximum. So only top 3 in the league will qualify for CL.

Manchester united:
West Ham - 3 points
Everton - 1 point
City - 0 points
Chelsea - 0 points
Huddersfield - 3 points
Cardiff - 3 points
Total: 10 points.

Arsenal:
Everton - 1 point
Watford - 3 points
Crystal Palace - 3 points
Wolves - 0 points
Leicester - 1 point
Brighton - 3 points
Burnley - 3 points
Total: 14 points

Chelsea:
West Ham - 3 points
Liverpool - 0 points
Burnley - 3 points
Manchester United - 3 points
Watford - 0 points
Leicester - 3 points
Total: 12 points

Tottenham:
Huddersfield - 3 points
Manchester City - 0 points
Brighton - 3 points
West Ham - 3 points
Bournemouth - 3 points
Everton - 1 point.
Total: 13 points

That would mean:
1. Liverpool - 95 points
2. Manchester city - 93 points
3. Tottenham - 77 points
4. Arsenal - 77 points
5. Chelsea - 75 points
6. Manchester United - 71 points

Curious to see how right/wrong i'm going to be.

So what happens if Arsenal or Chelsea win EL and also are in top 4? Does that mean the team in 5th get a CL chance?
