Predict the two Central Midfielders Utd will sign in this Window

Whoever they are we need to get a move on. As it stands we're weaker than last season, and we were already light in midfield to begin with
 
Alex Scott, Ayyoub Bouaddi and Johan Manzambi.

2 of these and we're set for decade.
 
If Brighton genuinely believe Baleba has talent - like he showed a year ago - then they’re unlikely to move him on for much less than say £70m. And let’s be honest, he was dire last year so we can’t be gambling anything like that sort of money. IMO he had his chance last year to get himself a move and he showed absolutely nothing.

I like Wharton but don’t think he’s in the same league as Anderson, Fernandez, Bruno G etc. Don’t really want him.
 
I'm hoping we find one top rated player who.. A : Compliments the playing style of Kobbie.. B : Has the ability to 'put out fires' whilst the team is out of possession.. C : Has the energy of a Duracell powered Bunny.

Plus either Ayyoub Bouaddi or Johan Manzambi.

Scott and Baleba. I'd be happy with that. I know many won't be but redcafe posters who are throwing their toys out of the pram have a history of misjudging players. So whoever we get in I'm sure we will be fine.
 
Do we think there’s any chance of us signing 4 midfielders including Ederson?

We’re seeing strong links with Tchouameni and Santos but they’re all quite similar. It would be good to get all 3 plus a creative player like Scott for example.

I think there’s a strong chance of just 2 CM’s. Think we are going to be priced out of most moves.
 
Santos will probably happen unless the player decides he'd want regular game time. We have a decent relationship with Chelsea.

Still think we'll go for another automatic, prominent first teamer. Tchouameni fits that criteria.
 
We need to get one of Denmark midfielders. They made the Brazilians like a championship side.

I saw this on twitter, I don’t think 2 or 3 midfielders is enough to suffice. I think 4 would be the sweet spot if we really want to compete

 
I think we end up with either Scott or Tchoumeni...overpaying for either. I also won't be surprised if we end up with three CMs.

Ederson, Santos/Berge, Alex Scott seems plausible and underwhelming.

Impulse buying lads based on World Cups is never a good idea. Impulse buying the wrong lads based on World Cup games, is definitely not a good idea!

Amazing what you can do when you break the rules with no consequence. Another season about to start and no outcome.

If we're including Foden and Cherki we should also include Bruno and Mount. So for 3 positions they're pretty stacked with 8 players. We have 4. I'd be happy enough if we got 2 more to make it 6 plus a left sided player to cover Cunha in case he has to play centrally some time. We'd still be quite thin compared to City but I don't think we're gonna have the budget for much more than that.
 
Dang. Onana is injured. Was one of those I wanted. I guess it's Scott and Baleba then.
