Why would half these players even want to go to Newcastle?
Taking FFP into account they can spend 200m over 3 years so most of these players are a no go unless they figure out how to increase their money into the club to make sure FFP is ok

They’ll still not be buying some of the names on this list. Big players like Salah? They’ll have to work up to that level
yeah it will take a couple of years before they can dine from the top shelf

but you never know, next summer Salah will be 30 and his next contact will be his last big one.. maybe they could tempt him

I'll like to see us sell them some deadwood like Martial, Bailey, Jones for sizable amount of Money.

I think some people are forgetting that the big names people have mentioned wont play for anyone that doesn’t include champions league football. Maybe when Newcastle build there way up to be a regular top 6 team then they will likely attract top name players.

Seriously?

Edit: let me qualify. They'll find a way round that via CAS, illegal sponsorship and and back handers. I know they don't have City's five year get out clause but there will be similar dodgy legal workarounds, as City have demonstrated.

Maybe but I doubt it, he seems settled in Liverpool

I think they will have to go for martial level players first and get CL football before they can reach the porno shelves

He hasn’t signed a contract with pool yet, either has Pogba, hand them half a million a week save on transfer fees.

A sudden and massive increase in sponsorship / commercial revenue will surely vastly increase what they can spend? Even if the Saudis don't control the club, their pull will bring sponsors from the region in.

Let’s see what happens. I guess some will extra revenue will come in but enough to affect spending limits, that’s out for now. Newcastle are coming from a low bar

I reckon they'll spend £100 mil in the January window.

Then another £150 mil in the summer.

I can't see any really "top" players going there just yet. Chelsea didn't sign any true world mega stars at first and neither did Man City (I don't think PSG did but not 100%).

Bale, loftus cheek, tarkowski.

For what its worth I dont think FFP will affect or stop them. Man City had their CL ban overturned. PSG faced a small fine. Its different when your spending gives your league sustainability concerns and they think you could go under, endangering the fixture list or meaning you cant pay players. As long as theres massive amounts of money pumped in to cover any losses in the accounts they wont get into much trouble. Even if they got a transfer embargo the league usually has to warn them I think so they can overspend even more and stock up. FFP is unfit for purpose and a waste of time.

Will take Newcastle a few years to raise revenues so they can spend even more and will need a few marquee signings like Bale or someone to raise the profile. But this will upset several teams. I genuinely think they Could endanger the likes of Spurs, Leicester and Arsenal within a couple of seasons and the top 4 within 5 or 6

Think your 3 is a good shout. Lots of other good names on the list, guys like Tarkowski, Coutinho, Kamara, Auoar, Toney, Neves, Aaron's, Bissouma, Onana all worth a mention as well I think as sensible options for Stage 1 of the process.

It's a shame Liverpool will make so much money out of these gangsters.
