Surely Rodgers is the third best manager in the league?

More a five across midfield but you could classify it as a diamond, play your best players in big games :keano:
Yeah no doubt. I’m not even that nervous now weirdly. Just looking forward to it.
3 at the back and Fred LWB
Oh yeah erm ours is with Sahah at CB and Matip up top. Long ball FC they call us.

That Spurs XI is very average.

Kane + Son have done a lot of heavy lifting in that squad.

It is crazy right? Their numbers are mad this season and they are pulling spurs to where they are, despite the numerous draws

Seems like Mourinho is going all out to win this game today. Beat Sheffield by 3 goals and they will displace Liverpool and go up to 3rd. Shows how unpredictable the league is now and it's way too early to call anything.

Anyone watching the game on sky sports seem to have commentary a few seconds ahead of play again?

Yeah Spurs will win this. I don't have hope Sheffield United will do Fulham. Also cheap goal to be conceded.

Spurs play Liverpool next in the league. Looked like Liverpool would run away with it after their win last month but as you say it's unpredictable.

But still think City's approach in conserving their energy will pay dividends.

Is it though if they then often spend the rest of the game defending? I suppose if that's the plan, they're nailing it.
Definitely part of the plan, they try to kill most games in the 1st 20 minutes.

It's why their starts are more impressive than what they do in the 2nd half.

I think what city are doing is actually very smart. They've realised they probably can't win the league while going gung-ho. They've focused more on their defensive game this season.

Losing to this Sheffield United side is a sackable offence. How is Bruce still standing?

Bit too much commentary chat about a "tactical masterclass" today.

It's Sheffield Utd for goodness sake.
5 points from 17 games?!

Hardly takes genius to be narrowly beating them 1-0 30 mins in.
