The damage van gaal did rrally set us back, i'd argue he was worse than Moyes. From the failed signings (di Maria, falcao, rojo, schneiderlin, darmian, basian) to getting rid of good squad options (chicharito, Evans, wellbeck) he really fecked us over .Well, he used to be. Until one poor season under van Gaal where our club/van Gaal decided that Rojo, Jones etc. are better than him.
They did replace Benitez with Hodgson, so pretty close.
I can only imagine being a Newcastle fan when that was announced.
Going from Benitez to him was the managerial equivalent of when Liverpool replaced Luis Suarez with Ricky Lambert.
He scored.Does that count as a shot on target by Auba? I've a bet on him
I also had 5/1 bet on him to score firstHe scored.
Nah £16m for Welbeck was good business IMO, agree with the other 2 though. The damage van gaal did rrally set us back, i'd argue he was worse than Moyes. Dont start that againClinical
That has been Willems his problem ever since he played for PSV. He just isnt a smart player. Great technical abilty while also really quick and not weak... but lacking a (footballing) brain.Willems was on another planet. If he goes to the crossfield ball instead of standing still the turnover doesn't happen. Brainless.
He just ran away from Aubameyang like.Where was Lascelles going?
Only player a cross would be picking out and he ran 15 yards away from himHe just ran away from Aubameyang like.
Yes. Good deal for Arsenal really. We really should have signed Aubameyang not Lukaku.
Mad that Arsenal got a free run at signing both Lacazette and Aubameyang. We really should have signed Aubameyang not Lukaku.
