Some of you lot are miserable. feck off with the defeatist attitude. feck off with the “City has a habit of putting together a winning run” because they ain’t shit. Watch a different sport if you don’t find joy in a weekend where Arsenal + City + Newcastle + Chelsea + Liverpool dropping points. I mean WTF is wrong with you.
Wouldn’t be too concerned with Newcastle. They have drawn as many as they have won and can only see them drawing more before the end of the season. Can see them finishing 5th or 6th.

Because we are highly unlikely to do better than City during the remainder of the season. Qualifying for the Champions League is really important so it's best to be as far away from the chasing pack as possible. Spurs keeping up with us is bad news because we're not finishing above City so we have to make sure that at least one of Newcastle and Spurs stays behind us - and with the fixture congestion and our squad that's not going to be easy.
The Newcastle United forum is that way

Arsenal and City have 2 games to play between them.

Either one of them drops 6 points, or both of them drop 3 points or both of them drop 4 points.

We have really good chances for the 2nd place and we should chase it. And maybe more.

This is a great game.

United have the old aura about them again at Old Trafford. You feel they’ll always get something out of a game no matter how dire the situation is.

Agreed, too bad there's still remnants of the self-destruction aura from the start of the season. 2 points dropped in the title race...

Think the Weghorst experiment has run its course now (I thought Man. United were just signing him as a last 20 minute option rather than starting him every game).

Rashford at CF and Sancho out wide and Leeds couldn't cope at all with the overloads down their right (Luke Shaw is a very very good LB going forward aswell these days) so I'd expect them to line up that way at Elland Road and eek out the win with more space.

Can't do much about lopsided midfield unless McTominay is fit for the weekend. Is Wan-Bissaka injured?

Yep and it’s funny listening to the moaning on the match day thread as if they think they haven’t improved which they have obviously.
