Watford are going down. Last 2 games against City and Arsenal. All Villa or Bournemouth need to do is win one of their last 2 and Watford will lose out on goal difference at that point.

Saints had no motivation, nor did Palace. They both still gave us proper matches.
Yeah, Moyes will be motivating his squad for sure. Not too worried though as he couldn't motivate a title winning team.

West Ham are pretty much safe now aren't they?

So surely they won't be coming to Old Trafford with any motivation
They'll be on 37 points with this win and they'll have the better goal difference of the teams around them. Mathematically, they would only go down if Watford, Bournemouth or Villa won their games and thumped teams by cricket scores, which is highly unlikely. With today's victory, it's highly likely they'll stay up.
That's if they don't pick up any more points. I've got a feeling they'll be playing for a draw against us, in a bid to not come away from the game empty handed. It's still going to be a hard game.

Would have preferred Brighton to go down instead of the Villa but happy with Norwich and Bournemouth. Will happily take Watford though.

At this rate, West Ham will be 6 points clear of the drop, with 2 games to go, and a +13 goal difference advantage over the teams chasing them.

they started the night 10+ GD over bournemouth I believe, as if that was not impossible enough for a club like Bournemouth or Villa to overcome it's at +13 now

Ant and Dec are the only two useful players they have. We’ll need to keep an eye on the giant Soucek too.

It's good they win tonight, less pressure on them on Wednesday.

edit: goal difference makes them safe tonight.
Southampton and Crystal Palace were both completely safe and it wasn’t any kind of advantage. If we play like we have the past two games they’ll give us problems.

Hard to believe that this Watford team was the only team to beat Liverpool before they clinched, and it was a comfortable win as well.

Why are people scared of West Ham? We should be trouncing them.

Yeah they destroyed Watford and Norwich. But those are two of the worst teams in the league.

We'll definitely need to score a couple - absolutely guaranteed we concede on a corner or set piece. WH are enormous.

There is two ways to look at this current form from west ham, they will be an absolute handful for us in a really tight game or the fact that its west ham and that they ain't exactly the type of team to have long undefeated streaks and will be due a loss in the next game or two.

Could go if we smash them. 6-0. So they still need to play for it.
Moyes would just set up to stop the bleeding if he goes down a few goals early against us, and they play Villa on the last day. It's about as impossible as it gets if they see this out.

Nah Bowen is quite good as well, still wish we'd signed him over James if we were taking wingers from the Championship. Signing him and Soucek in January was a masterstroke for a club with such terrible transfer business. Antonio works his arse off which I respect but this is by far the best goalscoring form he's ever been in.

West Ham are realistically safe as long as they see this win out. However, they could be mathematically safe before they play us as well. If Bournemouth fails to beat Southampton & Villa fails to beat Arsenal, they're confirmed safe. They play before West Ham comes to Old Trafford.

It probably won't make a huge difference, but the fact they're completely safe even if they got beat 10-0 in both of their final games would probably cause then to be a bit more lax...

And even in that scenario, Watford would probably need 4 points from City & Arsenal.

Also West Ham may already be safe officially I think if Bournemouth and Villa fail to get 3 points? We play them after Villa play Arsenal and Bournemouth play Southampton

Because they're negative nancies. This place made Tranmere and LASK look like a Wednesday night at Britannia type of banana skin.

I'm hoping we won't because Ole will have rested them all for days.
