So if we win Liverpool cannot finish second as we would have an 8pt gap and they only have two games left to play. We would need one more point to finish off Spurs.

You need 3 points to secure 2nd place (or 4 to be 100% sure) and 2 points to ensure we can't catch you.

I am hoping for a win or draw against Chelsea so we can relax and start preparing for the final.

Hope Chelsea smash Liverpool. We need some interesting games next week.

Huge relegation games too. Both West Brom and Stoke could get relegated after this round.

Burnley are guaranteed Europa league play offs right?

City have scored 50% more goals than us. :(

Still a chance that LFC can get dumped out of top 4 by Chelsea. Would be fun to see them ending the season in 5th and losing the CL final. :D

No, mathematically Everton can still catch them but that would require a 15 goal swing.

7th place will enter in the second qualifying round, not in the play-offs.

Will need a Real and Chelsea half-and-half scarf from somewhere if that happens. Will never say a bad word about them again.

What a weird season for United. Beat the best teams in the league, then lost to the likes of Brighton and WBA.

Everyone below City has been poor or inconsistent in the league.

It feels like that’s the case every season. There’s one run away leader and then the rest.

Yeah, it tells you something about the Premier League. Would love it to be more competitive.

Only one man can make it more competitive, and I do reckon next season the gap between Pep & Mou will be a lot closer. Depends entirely on Mourinho's recruitment.

One things for sure; I'll be glad to see Stoke go down. Such a grim, depressing club with the worst set of fans. Reckon they'll struggle to come back up too. Good! Bye bye!

Those two are attitude problems after the season basically ended though.
I can't imagine how an Arsenal fan coped with this since February! Theres no intensity in these games.

It’s been more frustrating than I thought a 2nd place season would ever be.
We really should be thrilled with the 2nd place, but it has been almost soul destroying at times. I just wonder if Jose really does understand the heritage of this club, it isn't just about winning trophies, it is about the football as well. Winning with a bit of style and panache.

Maybe but the top 2 have vastly deeper pockets. Our team building whilst progressive season on season is incremental . Spurs rarely invest, nobody knows what Arsenal are doing and Chelsea are a wildcard. Nobody knows how their season will pan out next time out.
Inconsistency is probably to be expected.

Andros Townsend is wearing a wig. I've read people saying he's had a hair transplant, but he hasn't, he's wearing a wig. It's like Andre Agassi.
