I wonder if Solskjaer's going to focus much on the tactical side of things. I have a feeling he might tell the players to go out and enjoy themselves tomorrow, play with a bit of freedom.

Playing field is nice and level!
Wasn't same the case last year as well? Liverpool had most time between matches during this period.

I was checking out the rest days between each match from 1st and last match of the festive season and this is how it looks

Team Rest days between each match
-------------------------------------------
Liverpool 4 - 2 - 4
City 3 - 3 - 3
Spurs 2 - 2 - 2
Chelsea 3 - 3 - 2
Arsenal 3 - 2 - 2
United 3 - 3 - 2

I think Man City got the best deal with equal amount of rest days between each match. Liverpool is close second. Spurs have got the worst deal.

Spurs playing the last day of the League Cup along with being one of the smaller TV draws out of the top 6. Pretty unfortunate for them.

They also play first in the FA cup, just a day after City-Pool.

Liverpool and City with far more recovery time than the other top six.
More recovery time for Liverpool but also the toughest fixtures by some distance, playing the 7th, 14th, 5th and 2nd placed teams. City meanwhile are playing cannon fodder until the Liverpool game. Wouldnt be surprised if we go into that one trailing them.

Had no idea there was a game on tonight. Hope Wolves can make my evening.

Hoping for a Christmas miracle.

Nuno Espirito Santa to do one over Liverpool. Would love to see him unload his sack all over Klopp.

Santa was nice to us this holiday season. We "should" win every one of those matches...
Can see you winning the first three but Newcastle under Rafa been a difficult opponent since he turned up.

Always my favourite time of the year hence it's better to have the Winter break in January after 3rd round of the cup. Add in lower leagues playing on the same days and it's simply Football porn.

Interesting to see a few other european leagues are starting to take note of how popular xmas football is for fans. Italy now playing on Boxing day and maybe France aswell? Spain played games on New Years eve a few seasons ago.

Liverpool will win by a cricket score tonight, going 5-0

I can't even remember the last time they have dropped points or even drew a game domestically?

I want to say at the Emirates, but there's probably a game I'm forgetting.

City drew 1-1 at Wolves (remember that handball goal?). It's far from an easy game for any team.

Why the feck is Traore so highly rated? Terrible end product for a so called attacker.
