It’s just good to see us playing as a team and the atmosphere in training looks a lot better. Players all pulling in the same direction and seeing smiles on faces…. This will help us be successful. Amorim is the man to turn us around and I’ve backed him from the start and still do.If the team wasn’t so fragile mentally, the results wouldn’t really matter—just the fitness, reps, etc. However, imagine the media reaction (and this place) if they’d lost the past two matches 2-6 on aggregate because they were trying stuff out—not caring about the result. So, since the team is low on credit, the results do matter. Quite a bit actually.
Matters for confidence, fitness, and tactical familiarity. Winning is nice as it's usually an indicator of the prior three, but not necessary.
