Schweini was crocked, Kroos isn't

Arguably Kroos is the nearest thing to a Scholes - type player.
There is reciprocal admiration for each other with Scholes recommending Kroos for United some time ago
https://www.sportsjoe.ie/football/p...ael-carrick-manchester-united-transfer-113891

It remains to be seen whether Kroos career is in a downfall and also if he is motivated to play for us.
We need supplementary midfielders for Pogba, not replacements. Kroos alongside Pogba would elevate us, in place of him will not.

Hmm, I took it as him saying it’s a job nobody would want. ‘Run a mile’ suggests that he would want nothing to do with it. Maybe we’re both right, you have offered an explanation as to why he may think what I said.

Mandzukic, haha. I honeslty predicted this, word for word, when the summer window closed. I said we'd end up panicking due to injuries and/or lack of goals and go back in for Mandzukic in January but end up paying about £35m for him at a January premium when £20m would have sufficed in the summer. That's called proactive squad management though and our reactive, inept board do not behave that way. Dembele would be a mistake, another sulking questionable French talent at the club would be a terrible move.
