If Poch signs with us in next few weeks he will get £15m a season for 3 1/2 years at the least. He won't give two craps about the spurs compo. It's about getting back in for top level managers.

Because he didn't want to leave, to get him out of his position, they had to pay out the remainder of his contract. I dont see how if he didn't want to leave, why he should lose out financially for getting a new job. Like if Chris hughton got the Watford job, should he pay back his Brighton pay out?

That being said, you might be right having something in the contract, but if you've basically rescinded it, how can they enforce that at all? POch would have had to have signed some competition clause upon leaving, which would be fecking retarded of him if he did.
He won’t lose out financially, that’s the whole point.

Why on earth would Spurs be interested in a finished Matic? Jose has his big lumps for that position, more mobile and useful versions too. Matic won't be going there and to be honest, I don't know if Eriksen is what we need.....I suspect he'd only come for a final payday.

Smalling would greatly improve Arsenals defence
That's not saying much to be fair. Playing in a slower, less competitive league has made him look a world beater. He'd just be their next Sokratis or Mustafi. Wouldn't be long before the Arsenal faithful turned on him. Good luck to him.

He’s played in this league before.

I'm not going to dig up the old Smalling for President debate but there's a reason he ended up in Italy in the first place and why he wasn't playing for England. But if Arsenal want to go down that road, let them crack on.

Sure, let’s continue to ignore what the Spurs squad are saying and continue to blindly worship Pochettino. Think about what you’re saying!
