If we don't play this game tonight, I hope we face points deduction, miss out on Champions League and have no money spend on transfers in summer.

At least those local fans whom I don't understand will be happy.

Trophies? Glory? Success? They don't care. LUHG.
Alright, now we definitely know this is Joel Glazers’ account. For what it’s worth I’d take getting relegated if it meant we got rid of ‘fans’ like yourself.

Are you sure it's the fans protesting that have been consuming their bodyweight in booze?

Nice to see we're not letting up the pressure. Make sure it's peaceful but by all means make it as obstructionist as possible.

Anyone whining about this can go pick flowers.

Liverpool bus on way to Old Trafford
It looks like Liverpool are finally making their way to the ground.
Sky Sports add the team coach is getting a police escort from the hotel.
Players and officials boarded the bus around 6.30pm and are expected at the ground shortly following a two-mile journey.
Sky saying they are in the ground.

How can a club be held responsible for alleged fans who are no where near the ground? It’s a legal matter for the police to deal with the individuals concerned, not something Ole and the team need to be punished for.
I dunno, clubs are always punished for the actions of their fans in the grounds but I guess it'd be a weird grey area outside of the ground. But I'd be shocked if they didn't just give Liverpool the win if it did get cancelled (though looks like it'll go ahead so moot point).

I keep wondering amidst all of this plus the ESL row, whether these fans aren't a little misguided themselves?

The basic principle of not wanting the Glazers to bleed the club seems fair enough, but the idea that billions should be pumped back in to basically create a football monopoly also seems anti-football.

I would expect a proposal more in tune with dividend caps for the owners, a dedicated percentage to always go back to the football side of things, and the rest being put into charitable causes, or more equitably spread around the football world.

It makes little sense to rage at greedy capitalists yet to behave in the same way from a footballing perspective.

Sky news reported they were being dispersed by security and just went along with it.

I'm thinking the crowd were heading off somewhere else as part of a plan.
Old Trafford Cricket ground. The police didn't see that one coming. Fools.

What are you talking about? I mean the club/officials didn't think it was going to be anything more than a protest like what happened at other clubs. The Premier League didn't expect it to escalate to the point where the match is stopped. Now at least they know the intention is to stop the match, which is much different and why there would likely be an actual punishment now.
It sounded like you were talking about the protestors, not people inside the club.

Embarrassing for the club and the city of Manchester, is this how things work down there? Imagine if they had something important to cry about, like human rights or something not as utterly trivial as a football club (which is doing quite well by the way). I hope the police now show their influence and make sure the ones not obeying commands are removed by force, that’s the only way certain idiots ever learn. Tired of this shit, just let the players do their thing on the pitch.
Is your middle name "yes man"?

Or maybe you are a nodding dog for the Glazers.

If you find other causes more worthy then go and create a protest. It is not a zero sum game.

I think they're tear gassing themselves looking at the footage
These guys don't strike me as the sharpest.

All gone now looks like security told them Liverpool players arrived by invisible coach and the idiots swallowed it and went home

I've just drove past sir matt Busby way on chester Road and there is a wall of police at the Ford garage. Whilst driving home it felt kind of like a matchday. People walking from all sorts of directions to the ground.

I'd join in but I've just finished work and can't be arsed to be honest.

Nah I was saying the premier league and club officials were caught off guard so they couldn't do anything other than postpone it.
