I see Johnny Davidson is getting absolute pelters for saying the N word whilst Michael B Jordan was on stage. This despite the fact a great film in ‘I Swear’ being made all about Tourette’s syndrome. Hell, the lead actor won best actor for it!
Instead of showing the understanding that the film teaches us, those on Twitter are actively calling him a racist. Some are even shouting about Tourette's not being real. You also have Jamie foxx saying it’s deliberate and ensuring the BBC apologise for it too.

What is One Battle After Another (I think that's the title) without political commentary? Nothing basically. Cowardly opinion. Cannot even defend his own film and the points it make re ICE.

Seems a tad ironic that it would appear that huge swathes of the people at the event seem to have no awareness of the condition that the film is highlighting, no matter how confronting hearing such language may be. Foxx saying he did it deliberately is particularly silly and ill-informed .

I couldn't watch One Battle After Another without being accutely aware of Dicaprio, Greenwood and the fact they turfed out a bunch of homeless people just so they could shoot the movie. Besides the film's politics were as substantial as a Che tshirt or MAGA hat. Even then I saw a bunch of people in left media big it up, seemed weird.
Oh I didn’t know that. I’m also pretty sure Greenwood continues to perform in Israel(Radiohead truly are the most centrist rock band of all time).
I found the movie to be a mostly a fun action film with incoherent politics. Imo a lot of people see PTA as their generational director and are somewhat desperate for him to have good politics. The reality is more likely he is dumb movie nerd.
