What's the tariff on an imported fan?So what’s the craic with them? Where are they imported from?

Probably along the lines of what @Kopral Jono posted. So what’s the craic with them? Where are they imported from?
Actually it's better than the real thingBud has a non-alcoholic beverage? Disgusting. It's nasty drinking real Bud let alone a substitute.
Imagine paying 220bn to embarrass yourself on the biggest stage - not only as a football team, but also a hosting country, with the coverage being overwhelmingly negative. Loving the fact this might be the most counterproductive and most expensive PR stunt by a bloody regime that will fail spectacularly.I guess in the end Qatar couldn't even make it an hour into the tournament without revealing what an utter farce this is. Impressive.
That would be the more sensible approach so probably. Recruiting an entire group of ultras from one club knowing what ultras are like probably wouldn’t be the smartest move. Probably got a small number of ultras to lead things then used normal folk for the rest..They recruited both trainer and fans from around the world? Wouldnt be easy to recruit “ultras” of one club?
Ronaldo fans when they finally met him
It's not like they need a professional choir. It'll be enough to buy one or two capos and then staff the stands with some locals and give them a little crash course beforehand, so they now the songs. That would be the more sensible approach so probably. I reckon that might only be in the west.Imagine paying 220bn to embarrass yourself on the biggest stage - not only as a football team, but also a hosting country, with the coverage being overwhelmingly negative. What happened? Didn't catch the 2nd halfI guess in the end Qatar couldn't even make it an hour into the tournament without revealing what an utter farce this is. Impressive.
That may or may not be true with regards to human rights and dead workers, but I don't see how you could sell atrocious football, tent housing at premium prices and empty stadiums as a positive to anyone.I reckon that might only be in the west.
Empty stadium, team outclassed by Ecuador, tents instead of hotels. What happened? Didn't catch the 2nd half
Apparently, but it's hard to gauge what is true and what isn't when it comes to this edition of the World Cup. As far as I'm concerned what I posted there could be fake news, who knows, and for what it's worth I don't buy the 'fake fans' claims doing the rounds last week (us Indonesians go batshit crazy for national teams of other countries, too -- @Sky1981). In any case, what I'm trying to say is I wouldn't be surprised if the host pull something like that off, knowing full well that there probably isn't a grassroots support for the national team. They recruited both trainer and fans from around the world? Wouldnt be easy to recruit “ultras” of one club?
Which 90s United Player is that meant to be?
It’s clearly Graeme Tomlinson.Which 90s United Player is that meant to be?
This world cup has brought them massive infrastructure in the country so for them it's the only real positive for them
Good on him?? I mean the headline not you Game.
I dunno, that was almost physically painful to listen to. I'd rather nothing.Let's face it, aside from the knock out rounds with the bigger teams this is probably the highest capacity game we're going to see. Expect feck all atmosphere.
I would genuinely have the vuvuzelas back at this point.
Good on him?? I mean the headline not you Game.
If he was at a ground in Europe sitting amongst opposition fans and did that, assuming it's about bribery, he'd have got his face smashed in. He's there with what looks like his daughter too. What an idiot
Anything is better than the vuvuzela's, even plastic fans or empty stadiums in Qatar.Atmosphere seemed underwhelming, with all the fake Qatar fans choreographing.
Even South Africa 2010 opening game had better atmosphere.
Hope the atmosphere gets better tomorrow that real english ,welsh, dutch, iranian, and american fans will be there
And where exactly in Europe he’d be smashed in face for a suggestion a ref was bribed, even sitting amongst oppo fans? get real, I think all across the continent as we all in the UK and Ireland we all shout shit like this constantly and often without too much ground to itGood on him?? I mean the headline not you Game.

He would have got something over just somebody telling him to shut up and sit down. And not just at Millwall away. In Italy, France etc they would not have been so polite. He may not have had a physical beating there.and then but in some places he would have been pissed on etcNo he wouldn’t! it’s not Millwall away.
There are definitely games in France and England where he would've been beaten up. an away fan talking smack in the middle of home fans is not a clever thing to do. For all those people disagreeing, why don't you do it next time you go to a game and record it ?He would have got something over just somebody telling him to shut up and sit down. He is there with his kid. He is an idiot
https://www.redcafe.net/threads/world-cup-2022-babes-blokes-non-binary-thread.474043/#post-29740791Do we have a WC Babes watch thread?
I must have imagined the coins and lighters and what not throwing at rival fans sat separately, and players at games. And where exactly in Europe he’d be smashed in face for a suggestion a ref was bribed, even sitting amongst oppo fans? get real, I think all across the continent as we all in the UK and Ireland we all shout shit like this constantly and often without too much ground to itfrom my experience watching games in Poland, Italy, Spain, Belgium, England and Portugal it’s really nothing and you exaggerate a lot. Nobody gets physically attacked for stuff like this, in fact you very rarely see violence on the stadiums these days.
It's never been about money. That's sort of the point. For FIFA execs - yes. Greedy, corrupt, gluttonous pigshit feckers one and all.I don't think money is a motivator for this WC for Qatar. I'm not sure they would be bothered if the stadia were half empty if it was simply about money.

Somebody telling you to shut up and sit down would be the most blessed thing to happen to you, let's put it that way.Even if it is an "exaggeration" that he would have had his face smashed in its still not a clever thing to do with a young daughter by your side.
No way there wouldnt have been some retribution though.
There’s a second part to this video where the same fan is making some sort of apology to the Sheikhs he upset. I wonder what was said to him…
Probably the other way around. That guy realized he just embarrassed his country in front of the world by cursing at a father in front of his kids over a joke. There’s a second part to this video where the same fan is making some sort of apology to the Sheikhs he upset. You said he’s have his face ‘smashed in’. International games I’ve been to people love a bit of banter and making a bribing sign is just that, this is a sober crowd as well with zero rivalry between the teams. I get if this was Holland Germany or Argentina Brazil but it’s not.He would have got something over just somebody telling him to shut up and sit down. And not just at Millwall away.
