Quarter Final 2: Spain vs Belgium at Los Angeles Stadium at 8pm BST, Friday 10 July

Colombia. He would great for his life. The cartels are unforgiving.
There's some big misinformation about Escobar's murder

It was a tragic confluence of events that lead to it, but the bottom line is cartel guys fighting to take Pablo's place had bet huge money on Colombia winning the world cup, they were pissed, and killing him served to make themselves known. Target of opportunity

Can't have a Spanish or Argentinian ref in the final either because they both hate you as well.

I'm free to referee the match? I'm easily bribable as well.
Im Irish. Was tryin the ol’ reverse jinx

Id happily have you ref the game.

Maybe our German ref Felix Zweyer. Bellingham will be bussing.

Literally nobody (other than people on here) will care about Lammens parrying that shot come the first Prem game of the season.

Different if he dropped it into his net as Belgium were leading. Different if it were the final.

They are already all over him.

It was bad, Courtois also made a mistake for the first and had another terrible save straight out to an attacker. Of course this will make the headlines but Courtois was very meh as well. Hopefully this doesn’t stick with him into the season.

Spain don’t look that hot. Didn’t think Yamal was all that. Few tricks and the chance in first half but overall fairly wasteful

If they play this game 100 times, I think Spain going to win 101/100

But they are going to lose against france, this is the worst spain in the last 20/25 year
It's not worse than the Spain teams of 2014/2018/2022.
Media all over Lammens. Poor guy. I hope he won't follow the Karius route. How good is Darlow?
Which media? And what on earth does Karius have to do with anything?

He's not having a good competition, and they lack good wide players aside from him.

He was probably the most creative player from either team.
I take them with a pinch of salt if not backed up by the eye test, but his rating was the worst on the Spain team and he had just 1 key pass.

Which is how I remember it too, he was really poor and it's why he ended up being dropped tonight.

Tbf as awful as Spain playing style can be at times they were clearly a better side and Belgium pretty much played for penalties with 10 man behind. Tough and shit luck for Lammens but Spain deserved that in the end. Not sure how much of comfort that can be for Lammens.

That wasn’t a mistake  And he was very good throughout.

Well they offered Lammens at the altar of Trump.
How bad were United players at this cup?
Not great.

Amad had a few good moments and scored a few goals.

Bruno did next to nothing but can't be easy playing with 10 men and a clueless manager every game. Dalot didn't get many minutes.

Mainoo hasn't got a kick of the ball yet.

Cunha was the pick of the bunch really. One of the few Brazil players who looked like producing something, but Ancelotti took him off for that rubbish little fat kid Endrick.

Mazraoui had an excellent tournament until Mbappe got at him, which is hardly shameful.

For a keeper of his caliber to have two saves in a span of a few minutes straight to the middle of the box is not good enough. He was solid a part from that though.

I might be a bit hard on him though, one of my favorite keepers and I’ve seen him do some amazing stuff.

Not taking anything away from that mistake at the end which was terrible.

Was starting to fancy Belgium to pull something out the bag before the keeper injury, unfortunate for both keepers

Yamal was motm... these are fan votes, right?
Thought he was good in the first half, looked sharper and those little moments of genius were coming back. Then it kind of fell apart in the second - he looked tired and kept giving the ball away.

Belgium unlucky. Went out on a goalkeeper mistake and a potential p incident completely ignored

Cucurella looks world class these days. He's integral to their attack..
Agreed, but he seems to not quite get it right for the final pass. I feel Spain have a bunch of players that are close to making it all work.
