Huge match. England have a really good chance of making the final for the first time in decades. Norway is a team england can and should be expected to beat, and so too are Argentina or Switzerland.

Haaland and Messi are wild cards that can cause havoc but man for man, England are a better team than Norway and Argentina.

Norway have walked over their qualifying group stage including Italy, beaten Ivory Coast, Senegal and Brazil on the way here.

England beat a aging Croatia, and a 3-2 game vs Mexico.

Norway has had by far the hardest road to the quarter finals in comparison. Considering the result vs Congo Im not sure hubris is quite so warranted. You are only here because of Kane heroics, not a team effort

I would argue Norways results against Senegal, Brazil and Ivory Coast are more impressive than Englands so far.

On paper I definitely agree that England has the better 11. Although when it comes to a teams potential of being greater than the sum of its individual parts, I think it may be closer than most people on here seem to think.

Hopefully it's an entertaining game without any controversies either way.
 
Probably the only time I ever want Odegaard to do his annoying 50 touches in almost walking speed-thing to make sure the ball stays in the team for the longest possible.

I want Norway to have their moon landing (World Cup semifinal), and you can't really let England have the ball for more than the absolute minimum with that Norwegian defence. It is not exciting, but it is expected value-maximizing in my view.
 
This is a formality. Norway will do nothing against the formidable Kane/Bellingham double team.

Playing with 10 men away in Mexico for 47 minutes isn't a team effort?

England are actually a decent coached team under Tuchel with obviously very decent players. May go out to Norway but I think will dominate possession and the chances in the game.

A lot of people seem to dislike England for whatever reason, but we're not the bad guys in this tournament, it's FIFA, Infantino, Trump and ArgenFifa...
 
As always I hope we win and expect we'll lose. I do tend to be negative though. Haaland is on fire, our defence is suspect and we've 4 guys on yellow cards. I can see us maybe scoring a couple but I can see them doing similar. Nowhere near a gimme.
 
We will obviously lose to the mighty England, but we have exceeded expectation's and done better than most thought.
 
The midfield and strikers for both teams are a very good match up but England, for all the criticism, have the better wingers, defence (yes, really!) and squad depth. Haaland and Norway’s defence/goalkeeper would have to perform really well for Norway to win but I hope it’s a good match.

The Hard Rock Stadium…..does that country have no self-respect? I picture a tacky restaurant serving plastic burgers and playing 80s hair metal.

As for the game, not quite 50/50 but Norway will be very tough opponents.
 
Sadly think England will win in a close game. Only chance I see Norway winning is if we get an early goal, and England leaves space behind for Haaland while chasing the game.
 
England should have too much - but fancy Haaland to bag his customary goal and a bit of drama.

England 2/3-1.
 
Think Bobb and Odegaard will cause lots of issues in this.

Extra time here I think.

The Hard Rock Cafe chain is an English creation that began in London. I remember visiting the original restaurant where the waitresses moved around the tables on roller skates as rock & roll anthems blasted through speakers. The cue to get in stretched around the block.

Their Miami restaurant has a car crashing through the wall above the entrance, while their hotel in Vegas has a dance floor called The Joint.

The chain has venues throughout the world selling reasonably priced well fried food and is currently wholly owned by a native American tribe based in Florida.

The rock & roll memorabilia in their USA outlets makes them worth visiting even if you're not hungry. Hendrix guitars, Beatle suits, a Prince Jock Strap, Dolly Partons discarded bra, Lou Reeds bong, Taylor Swifts onesey.

The displays are mind boggling and full of self respect (sort of). Don't knock it till you've tried it.
 
The Orlando Hard Rock has had great food every time I've been. Their concert venue is nice too. Saw Primus twice and BEAT last year. Good bar in the back.
 
Has there been an investigation into Jordan Hendersen’s injury? Who put the video board there? Why was it so tall? Was the ground wet? Can He sue Oasis for writing Wonder”wall”? We need answers.
 
I expect pace for about the first 20 minutes until the heat and humidity wear on the players. For England to go from CDMX altitude to this climate has to be brutal. Could go either way, but I expect Norway to win. Ideally, for my own selfish reasons, it goes to ET.

Rice struggling with illness, stomach flu. If they are isolating him from the rest of the squad there’s a good chance he’s not playing tomorrow.

Haaland desperately needs someone to give him the ball in the right positions, as he’s never going to be the player to pick up the ball in midfield and drible past a few players before scoring. Dominate midfield, which i have little doubt you’ll do, and i think Haaland will be kept very quiet.

Lisandro Martinez - unless Haaland decides to pick him up and run around with him, of course.
 
Don't think Guehi is going to make it so Stones starting is a cert in this. He trained with Haaland for five years but fitness issue, same with James and Rice if he makes it as apparently the humidity is going to be insane.

This is a game where England going to have to really use their bench again. Rashford and Madueke unused subs v Mexico and Mainoo and Watkins will surely get minutes here.
