Rafa Benitez Sasquatch.
Brilliant rant. Not quite Keegan levels but still great. Fergie really did get to him. But I like it when Liverpool fans try to say it didn't make a difference...
Please come back Rafa. We miss you.

Liverpool were on 45 points compared to Utd 38 (1 game in hand)
Liverpool drew 0-0 with Stoke, Utd beat Chelsea 3-0, then Wigan 1-0
Liverpool drew 1-1 with Everton, Utd beat Bolton 1-0
Liverpool drew 1-1 with Wigan, Utd beat West Brom 5-0
Ouch.
There was no continuing or improving on that success without things getting worse first. You could say that he did worse than he should have done (like Moyes), but the idea that he was supposed to immediately continue that success (they'd won a treble) is ridiculous.True, but he still should get the blame nonetheless. He knew what he was getting into when he signed up for the CL champions. The fact that he couldn't continue their success is proof that he isn't good enough. To put it another way, had Mourinho remained coach, Inter would have done far better with the same players and a few additions over the summer.
I personally think that he is a decent coach and would do considerably well for a national side. However consistent results in a league format is not his cup of tea.
Never forget. He's gone through so much data, so many statistics, dates, he's done so much research just for this. The summit of delusion.
Please come back Rafa. We miss you.
Fantastic cup manager, doesn't understand you need to be more attacking to win the league though. Would be a great international manager for who ever can get him.
Agree with these, you'd have to imagine international management would suit him. The demands he places on his players at club level are incredibly high, in terms of fitness, which is part of the reasoning behind what some may deem as 'rotation', or perhaps more correctly, over-rotation, at times. This in theory wouldn't be a problem at international level until major tournaments, where teams generally rotate a bit if they can anyway. Also, he wouldn't be able to buy players, where;Doubt his next job will be in club management. Spain after Del Boeque?
Good ebening. He will go to Newcastle.
Me tooI read the title as Rafa Benitez Sandwich.
It's just job for managers. And Benitez was unemployed, and rightfully grabbed the Everton chance.Doubt he’ll last the month.
It was an astounding move for all parties but it was classic Benitez: stubborn to a fault.
PotterOne more game and he's gone. Will be interesting to see who they go for next. Nuno?
