I wouldn't give him that much credit. I'm sure he wants to be successful while he's here but he also doesn't want to be at United beyond his current contract.
Well he wants to leave in January... no time for him to be successful.

I have no idea what Raiola or Pogba gains from this. Seriously what? Nothing. All they have done is spit on United and be a bunch of cnts. On the eve of a huge game! Thats it. Why?
To force a move or get more playing time so Pogba can play his way to fitness for the Euros.

Pogba's priority is the national team, not with us. Rialo's priority is a big money move so he gets paid again.

I don't care if he sulks or his feelings in general, I only care about United interest. The way I see it, one year of Pogba isn't worth the 45m-55m that you seem willing to throw away and that even if he was an healthy starter.
Would we get 55 m ? If yes, I would just take it and run.

Cant help but have a wry smile.

The amount of times I've told people in this forum, even after his first 10 games, that Pogba was virus and a fraud, and yet I got so many insults back from 'experts' who told me I didn't know football like them

Our entire experience with Pogba, including the youth team has been a complete shit show, and my only satisfaction is I never invested any hope that he would become a positive influence for us. Gotta feel for his fanboys who Pogba has made to look like mugs.

Mourinho was most right of all, he is a virus personality and also not a very good footballer either.

Do you people feel like it's kind of a relief for the team? I mean, they will have a point to prove, and the virus will be kicked out. I see this as a potential boost.

No, because he’s not going to be easy to shift. The pair of them are completely deluded. Act as if he’s been at the pinnacle of football for the last 4 years.

I’ve been a fan of Pogba. And would’ve still loved to have him around if he’s heart was in it. But it’s clearly not.

I’d say string PSG and Madrid along as long as possible whilst we sign Camavinga....then let him go.

Raiola: "I can say that it's over for Pogba at United"

It's not though, is it? He's in the squad playing tomorrow you fat cnut!

I assume this means he's going to stop collecting his wages until he leaves? Hand over his pass to the training ground and relinquish his parking space?

United have not been Pogba's priority for quite some time. I only hope we can use him to get a player that actually wants to play at OT

Who'd have thought it would be a mutual disdain for Paul Pogba and Raiola that brought us all together after years of in-fighting. It's a Christmas miracle.

Raiola had to wait a long time before he made that statement, waiting for Pogba to play a decent game. Couldnt have said that after all the terrible games Pogba have had all season long, because no one would care

Ironic thing is Pogba had a terrible first half, and an ok second half. One great goal blinded people to how crap he was in the first half.

I was cursing Ole for taking DvB off at half time instead of Pogba. In the short term Ole was right Pogba scored a great goal, but in the long term it risks demoralising a player who has recently joined, is not likely to cause major issues, and while not as capable of the spectacular as Pogba, has the ability to be a better more consistent CM then Pogba and one who actually wants to be here

It will be really interesting to see how Ole handles this. Hopefully he goes full Ferguson.

Carragher giving Pogba and Raiola both barrels on MNF. Unlike Ronaldo when he was spoiling for a RM move 'Pogba is not worth the hassle'.

Couldn’t pick a worse time come out with this, just goes to show Pogba doesn’t give a flying feck about the club only himself.

Pogba and Raiola likely wanted this negative response as it helps them play the sympathy card while also likely suggesting there's a deep rooted Pogba agenda in the UK media.

If you wanted to p*ss everyone off now was the perfect opportunity.

No, that wasn't VDB's agent but it's cute how the Pogba fanboys try to play the same card.
I’ve literally been posting in every thread he should leave, what’s cute is calling people fanboys on a club forum in a debate about a club player - what card you playing lad :nono:

Is it entirely plausible that the club have got the first shots in behind closed doors. Riola is all too aware of the serious economic downturn for a number of clubs and really there is handful of clubs who could afford them. Football is not immune from the worlds woe's and an end to the pandemic wont automatically mean the money will instantly start flowing by summer. The number of clubs who could afford a purchase or swap, well you can count them on two or three fingers. If he does go on a free he will be 29 years old and his better years possibly behind him. Therefore no massive payday for Riola.

Maybe, just maybe the club have said to Riola and Pogba that performances are way below par and do not warrant a new contract based on what is being delivered on the pitch. Is Riola coming out all guns blazing to deflect the painful truth that Pogba really isn't all that and is maybe just not cut out for Elite level club football in the Premiership?

Took him til damn near Christmas to put in a decent enough performance for Raiola to start running his mouth. On that basis alone I think it’s fair to say Pogba’s not nearly as important as he or Mino think he is.

He’s a luxury player, plain and simple. Another Veron or Berbatov, who’s obviously talented, but doesn’t have what it takes to impose himself on the team and take over games. When he’s not got more talented players to do the legwork for him, he’s exposed. We’ll be better off without him.

its annoying that he says this shit as it takes away all our leverage in negotiations

but I'm glad if it means we can get rid in January and bring in someone else, a DM specialist would suit the squad better now, IMO

Perfect summary of his career here. I try to think back to when he actually influenced a United team. Zlatan outshone him in his first season. Excuses made every season about the formation or players next to him not playing to his strengths. True world class players prove week in week out they are world class. Pogba has never done that.

Seriously during the whole saga I was just hoping the deal would fall through. I know how so many people were excited about this transfer but I really didn’t want him back. Hope he leaves ASAP, what a complete waste of money and effort from United!

So nobody is going to ask why he isn't happy here? Why he doesn't want to be a Manchester United player? Why he wants to leave?.
Why would anyone care? If he was an important player then yeah maybe people would be he's not
