Only AwB and Shaw should be worried.couldn't remember Dalot's name.
time to start worrying
Insane to think the staff couldn't fix something as simple as that.

Must say previous to Ole Mourinho wasn't in any way better. Just watch Roma vs Bodo or yesterday against Inter to see why post Ferguson the things developed that way.Simply because Ole wasn't a manager in any way, shape or form. Everything we achieved was in spite of him.
Three years of no coaching does this to you.

Probably thought he was watching prime Cafu, easy mistake.couldn't remember Dalot's name.

not many other options though. He and Greenwood were the only attackers on the bench. Well, and Mata I suppose. Not ignoring Donny is a bit of a stretch when he came on for his textbook last few minutes cameo
Do expect him to see more action though. Elanga getting a run out was great to see more so than anyone else. Actually playing a child.
could we drop the ridiculous hyperbole? It's getting a bit tiresome.Simply because Ole wasn't a manager in any way, shape or form. Everything we achieved was in spite of him.

I agree it’s tiresome and not needed, but it IS true. Getting a coach from bloody Molde was never going to be sustainable in the long run.could we drop the ridiculous hyperbole? It's getting a bit tiresome.

It really is. I mean if we achieved 3rd and 2nd in spite of him, then surely we should easily achieve 1st without him, right?could we drop the ridiculous hyperbole? It's getting a bit tiresome.
Not sure if Liverpool do this, at Dortmund Klopp did a high-press for 20-25 minutes to try to score 1-2 goals, then control the game and play on the counter. The early wave of high pressure often threw teams off from kickoff and led to goals but it's unsustainable to press so intensely so the players take it easy and press situationally after building an early lead.30 Minute FC
Shaw doesn’t need to be worried but he does need to start applying himself and work his way out of his current slump. He’s a far superior player to Telles in terms of pace and defensive ability, and is a close enough match on attacking ability and delivery to make that metric irrelevant.Only AwB and Shaw should be worried.
Amen. Just enjoy it, ffs. No need to drag Ole into every post.could we drop the ridiculous hyperbole? It's getting a bit tiresome.
I actually thought specifically about those passes that he would take issue with them. He’s right too, sideways in those positions are hospital passes, if someone reads them and intercepts they can take the entire midfield out of the game and put you in a dangerous position almost instantly.Tweet

yes well, I just think maybe something like "not in the end good enough" oughtto cut it, without needing to go to "totally 150% useless and no manager at all", just because some people just can't get enough and have clearly stopped worrying they'll look like idiots unless they exercise a certain amount of filtering their impulses before transmitting them through the keyboard.I agree it’s tiresome and not needed, but it IS true. Getting a coach from bloody Molde was never going to be sustainable in the long run.
Ole wanted his team to press and we saw some rare glimpses here and there but thing is he didn't know how to coach the side. Ragnick will do that because he is a master of that. I feel we will see some amazing pressing display as the season goes on. And the best part is whoever takes over next season will have half the work already done. I feel this is a smart move by the club. 6 months to teach the players to press and then kick on with the next manager. What impressed me more was the way our players moved to press. Before the ball was passed all of our players were moving to stop the channels of passing. Now how can they do it only after 4 hours or so of training? Does it mean that Ole did not want to press and instructed them not to do so? Nothing wrong with that as there are more than one way to win a football game. or simply the coaching staff and Ole had no clue how to do the press?

every time I watch this clip I’m in disbelief. “Pashun”. God
I don't think this ever really happened in any conscious way. Moyes wasn't a good enough manager, and in hindsight was bound to be a disaster coming on the heels of SAF. With LVG, we won a cup final in his last game and I don't think the players stopped doing what he asked. As I recall we played his style as he wanted, it just didn't result in much good football or success. And I don't think they even knew what Ole wanted them to do this season, we looked so confused and so disjointed. With Jose the whole environment just turned nasty, it's easy to imagine why that would negatively affect players and their play.If there’s one thing that tempers my enthusiasm about this good start it’s that this a quite a few of this group of players has soon enough gotten bored with the message being put across by successive managers. That ability to just stop doing what is asked - whether we as supporters think it has any value - is an insidious thing and won’t go away easily.

Well, with Jose, we knew what we were getting - defensive and counter attacking football. Didn't work out as intended but the signs were there before we appointed him.Must say previous to Ole Mourinho wasn't in any way better.
