Is it hamstring or groin? Either way he'll be out for a few weeks :(

We're as much all over the place with Varane, as we were without him, so what's the difference?

Thought he had a, well maybe not bad game, but not really good either. His passing was a bit off, he mistimed some situations and was overplayed and gave away some freekicks. The injury looked very awkward, was a nothing situation really. I thought it looked like his ankle but on tv they talked about hamstrings or groin.

So we are heading into the toughest run of fixtures for the entire season without Maguire & Varane?

Bit of an odd take given he's looked solid for us at worst.
Varane has been quality personified. But it's all for nothing when there's no clear defensive system in place, and everyone around him is brain dead.

I hope its nothing serious. He looked shaky all game so hopefully it was a precaution more than anything.

Lets be honest Varane's had a shakey start.

In fact the whole defence has looked suspect.

I think they just need more time to work together....just a shame injuries/suspension has been/continues to be a big disruption.

That's football.

No when Eric plays we can be way more all over the place.

Has he? He's looked the best defender we have to me.

No defender on earth is going to be flawless when they have players running freely at them all game.

Injuries are natural in football. Its time like these that the manager's tactical and coaching brilliance come to play. Ole will need to find ways how to succeed despite these hurdles.

It's those rose tinted glasses, you know. Alot of empty phrases, like "world class", "didn't put a foot wrong" after games when the performance can't say the same.

Saw this quote after France won the nation's final:

"Varane has never lost a final of any competition in which he has played"

 I'm sure we'll take care of that stat

Hopefully it's nothing too serious, Lindelof has been playing well but I'm not confident of him and Bailly as a partnership.

Was poor yesterday before his injury, and it looks hamstring rather than groin. The way he touched the ball and went down it's looks like it.

And usually, depending of the grade, it can be up to 4 weeks off.

It's a fantastic news as we all know that Bailly will get hurt in 2-3 games so we will finish with Lindelof-Jones

I'd prefer McTominay at the back before Jones starts. More so if it keeps him away from the midfield.
