feck letting him to go barca for cheap. He was tolerated for far too long
They won't pay us a fee. The plan will be to force us to loan him while subsidising his wagesSo they can't sign Williams because they can't register players, but somehow they can sign Rashford who is on 350K a week or something? + costing 40M in transferfees..
I think it depends on how moving to a new culture and setting changes his social life. If he keeps going out on the piss, nothing will change. If he marks it as a new start and takes things seriously, he'll be incredible in that league. Just see what Antony looks like physically in la liga, Rashford will blow them away if he gets back into top physical shape.Wonder how he'd get on at Barca? Not convinced he's sorted his head out but maybe he can do that, could work out alright for everybody. I get that he's been bundled out of the club he supports and grew up in (he has some culpability - before someone gets triggered) but ending up at Barca would make it a lot easier to get over that's for sure.
Hope it happens...

SAF became untouchable after the treble. Prior to it he was regarded as a decent manager with loads of cash burning in his pockets. It was not uncommon for him to face criticism. Clough in particular used to hate him. Having clough's shadow looming at you at the time wasn't nice. It would be like jose criticizing slot.Yes that too, but I was making similarities to the Norman Whiteside situation because it was before the success of Sir Alex with united, it was at a crucial time.

I highly doubt it. It will likely end up us subsidizing his wages. In the first place how is Barca able to sign players when they cant register Nico Williams?Paycut
He's going to point at his head really, really hard. What significant effort? More training videos?
Only welcome significant effort would be to drop his salary, accept we won’t be subsidising wages and only then we can start talking to Barca about the feeWhat significant effort? More training videos?
Why is it "damning"?Just read he’s deleted United from his Twitter bio. I’m not on there so can’t confirm but looked legit. Pretty damning if so - lad will have to force a move and maybe reduce wages.
I mean is that really anything to be upset over?He removed Manchester United player from his Instagram and Twitter bio. Like an 8 year old.
In fairness, 8 year olds have absolutely no right to be making that claim online. He removed Manchester United player from his Instagram and Twitter bio. Like an 8 year old.

Can we stop paying him then?He removed Manchester United player from his Instagram and Twitter bio. Like an 8 year old.
Nico would have cost them like 20m a year at a minimumI highly doubt it. It will likely end up us subsidizing his wages. In the first place how is Barca able to sign players when they cant register Nico Williams?
How much are you expecting Williams to cost?Nico would have cost them like 20m a year at a minimum
Rashford would cost no more than 10m and they should've already cleared that much space with Ansu Fati leaving
Thats not our problem if it’s a permanent transfer.I highly doubt it. It will likely end up us subsidizing his wages. In the first place how is Barca able to sign players when they cant register Nico Williams?
64m in fee plus ~15/y gross in wages. On let's say a 6 year deal, that's 25m a yearHow much are you expecting Williams to cost?
Ok fair enough. I thought you were just meaning the feeling.64m in fee plus ~15/y gross in wages. On let's say a 6 year deal, that's 25m a year
I’m really happy with the move by the club to make it untenable for these players. If they want to try their luck then at least they now know we’re not playing nicely anymore. Time to go.
Yeah I think it’s great. Whatever people’s thoughts are on Amorim and the system, this clean out is what we’ve needed for a long time, and relieved to see the club backing him on it even though it involved some short term pain.
We're not out of it yet.Yeah I think it’s great. Whatever people’s thoughts are on Amorim and the system, this clean out is what we’ve needed for a long time, and relieved to see the club backing him on it even though it involved some short term pain.
We came 15th last year which could easily have been 17th. And have only brought in 1 player this summer.Yeah I think it’s great. All parties are currentlt working on an exit and he doesn't even have a shirt number/locker anymore
If anything, it confirms that we won't have him back which I assumed many would be happy about
Upsetting?Unless it properly saves a lot on his wages just keep him.
Though still having 3 years left on his contract is so upsetting it's just not right.
