Was always incredibly unfair to bring him in without an experienced first team striker to mentor him.
I’d 100% keep him around but get that experienced head in as the number 1 striker and allow Højlund to learn his trade and develop without that insane pressure.
This is fair. Imagine bringing in such a young striker to lead a struggling manchester united team. The pressure is too much especially given the money we paid (not his fault but it’s a fact). He has been very poor this season, very frustrating. But bringing in an experienced striker to lead the line with Hojlund rotating and developing would be the ideal situation. This is why a discussion to go for Delap is scary
