Hojlund's the only one where I think a loan would actually be fine.
A loan isn’t the answer for me. He’s a poor player, and whoever loans him simply won’t care enough to persist with him after a few games of rubbishness. The investment is too minimal, anything he provides them is a bonus, whereas if they actually invest real money and buy him, he may come good if given a proper chance.

The only links I have seen are from Italian teams and I doubt anyone of them is going to pay over EUR 20m for him. His stock is at the lowest at the moment. Need something positive to get even half the amount we invested in him.

You're also assuming he'll be as bad as he was last season for his new side, which is unlikely to be the case. Although I don't rate him, last season is as bad as it will ever get - he's playing the toughest league in an underperforming team with huge pressure and scrutiny and it ruined his confidence.
He's proven at a earlier stage of development that he can do alright in Serie A. He must start for some top half sides in Italy who really need a striker. Getting double figures league goals in Italy, his book value will be less next summer and flogging him for £30m suddenly becomes feasible.

Agreed. Late window loan move. I just hope us being too nice to him doesn't backfire and he deludes himself that he can stay and fight for his place. At some point you have to be brutal and tell him categorically you won't get starts this season if you stay so you need to accept the loan.
