So does a loan with obligation count towards this year or next year's PSR? With ~£80m extra leeway from two transfers we could maybe see a top midfielder coming in..?
I like him personally because of his work rate but it wasn't working here and its best for everyone if he moves so I wish him luck too.Good luck to you dude.
Yeah he seems a decent guy. Not his fault our board thought he could be our 1st choice striker when it was obvious he should only ever have been back up.I like him personally because of his work rate but it wasn't working here and its best for everyone if he moves so I wish him luck too.
Depends on how they structure it, it could be something where he counts for this year but the first payment is due at the end of this fiscal season. So they have essentially a year to come up with the money and at the same time we can make our books look betterSo does a loan with obligation count towards this year or next year's PSR? Now do ZirkzeeAbsolutely the right choice to get rid. There are poor seasons, and there was what he turned out last year. Which was completely unacceptable and he cannot realistically have expected the opp to just go again as if nothing happened. There is no circumstance where his manager should retain any confidence in him after an almost unprecedented level of rubbish last season. There was just nothing from there to work with, just pure pie in the sky blind hope. To get the fee we have managed to is extraordinary in the circumstances.
Next year's. It's not even certain if he's going to be sold; Napoli has to finish in the top 4.So does a loan with obligation count towards this year or next year's PSR? With ~£80m extra leeway from two transfers we could maybe see a top midfielder coming in..?
Now do Zirkzee
I think Zirkzee has a place here. We saw against Burnley that he's a good sub for Cunha when he plays through the middle. Zirkzee lacks goal threat but with Mbeumo playing off him that's less of an issue. Now do Zirkzee

It's a matter of judgement. Him agreeing to a contract until 2030 would suggest evidence of the conditions as non-substantive, meaning recognised per 2025. Take a look at this test case from PwC:So does a loan with obligation count towards this year or next year's PSR? https://viewpoint.pwc.com/dt/uk/en/...pic.dita_d6328132-35cd-4cbf-a7ad-c043bec63b2bJudgement is required to determine whether there is an existing obligation to transfer the player’s registration rights. If the condition is non-substantive (for example, because it is virtually certain that it will be triggered), the transaction should be accounted for as a permanent transfer when control transfers (consistent with solution 1.9). The sale would be recognised by Real Zurich, and the registration rights would be recognised by F.C. London when the control over the rights transfers at the inception of the arrangement. In this case, further evidence that the condition under which the player returns to Real Zurich might be non-substantive could be found in the signature of a five-year contract between F.C. London and the player.
If the condition is substantive, the transaction would be accounted for as a loan until control over the registration rights is transferred (consistent with solution 1.7).
I absolutely did not see that. Zirkzee was completely out of his depth.I think Zirkzee has a place here. We saw against Burnley that he's a good sub for Cunha when he plays through the middle. Zirkzee lacks goal threat but with Mbeumo playing off him that's less of an issue.
TrollVery difficult for him to become a top striker. Seria A might be a good choice for him with the slow football played there. It was a mistake to buy him and i hope he never comes back.

You’re talking as if he was banging in 20 goals a season and we decided to sell him? It was wrong of us to make him lead the line so young when he wasn’t ready and it would be an even bigger mistake to wait for that mistake to work itself out a few years down the road, which also isn’t a guarantee.Good enough for the champions of Serie A but not good enough for the team that finished 15th in the PL.
I think he’s going to smash it for Napoli and this is one we’re going to regret a bit in the long run.
Champions league qualification, seems a formality for NapoliWhat are the conditions of the option becoming an obligation? Do we know?

Sky Sport reports that a deal for Hojlund could be finalized as early as tomorrow between Napoli and United. The tug-of-war between the clubs has been reportedly won by Manchester United. Sky reports that a verbal agreement has been reached on the condition set by the English club: a loan with an obligation to buy for €45 million only if they qualify for the Champions League. The Dane's number of appearances will not count.
