Don't think he'll ever fulfill his talent, or escape this hooligan sort of life. Sad really.

Quite a turnaround of events considering some saw him as a potential solution to United's problems less than a year ago.

The evidence would suggest that currently Ravel is a Championship standard player. Hard to imagine West Ham even wanting to extend his current deal should he avoid a prison sentence. Transfermarkt seems to think his current deal finishes next summer.

I would have him at Everton to honest. Funny enough i was speaking to my mate (who is a kopite) who used to be at a club and he has played against a good few players who play in the Prem now and he said Morrison was the best player he has played against. He also said Lingard was quality.

It isn't a mystery with this lad, just play him, it will fall into place.
He's got to earn it though.

If he's doing feck all in training then he's not worth a spot in the team is he?

He's quite clearly a bellend so if he's gonna act a bellend, don't reward him.

It is all about finding something the player responds to, you might piss a couple of people off but feck it, he is a special talent, make him focus on regular first team football and if he doesn't respond to what he supposedly wants, then dismiss him. Pogba was about the same, he just didn't have potentially explosive situations around him. The only way I can see to turn Rav's attention from those situations is to just drop right in the middle of the storm.

really this simple. How it's fallen apart at West Ham is where the mystery lies, it's not like he had months of bad form, Sam just stopped playing him out of the blue and sent him out on loan. He goes on loan and QPR fans reckon he's by far their best player when there then he goes back to West Ham and hardly touches the pitch. All a bit baffling really.

Sam stopped playing him b/c Ravel refused to sign with some agent who has most of West Ham's players as clients. Think there was a story about it.

Him and Madds timm, if some of you remember should have made it here. They gave away a chance that most fans in the world would kill for. What a waste.

I think the problem with Mads Timm was that at some point he figured out football wasn't really for him. At least not professional football. He did quite well in the Danish league though before suprisingly deciding to retire at 25 or something like that. If he's felt like that all along it's not surprising he didn't make it here.

The thing is, he's actually done quite well whenever he's been given the opportunity. He did well at his first loan spell at Birmingham, came back to West Ham and was one of their best players in the first half of the season. Not sure what went on between him and Big Sam but he found himself at QPR in the second half of the season, where again he did well. He'll probably go on to do well at Cardiff.

He's clearly not ready for a big team but he's good enough for one of the lower ranking PL teams. His move to West Ham just hasn't really happened for him, rightly or wrongly he's been cut out despite his performances being good.
