Reminds me of that time back in the mid-2000s when Liverpool played against some team from Uzbekistan or something like that, and it came out that the keeper had been bribed to let in at least two goals. Liverpool drew 1-1 with them.

The idea that Liverpool are some classy club that always give managers time was always absolute bollox.

They gave a manager time because he happened to be brilliant. Rodgers got sacked the moment it went downhill, Dalgliesh got sacked after a couple of years despite winning a trophy, Hodgson ect.

We can all stay with someone who's obviously better than anyone else we could get.
