Unlike the first game, we were quite a bit better than these French cheats.

Outside of Macallister all the signings we made in the summer were the worst players on the pitch. They clearly aren't used to this level of football.6

The second half they played like heroes. 2-0 was a joke of a scoreline and we completely dominated that half until the goal against the run of play. Their only in form attacker is out for a year. Their best players have nosedived in form this season. All of their other new signings have failed spectacularly. Their owners are sounding like they won’t spend huge sums this summer. The fans have turned on their manager.

How is this not a crisis? They look like they’re in quite a bit of trouble.

Looks like they’ll be needing to make a few changes this summer. Replacing Vandyke is an obvious issue, but I don’t think it’ll be as drastic as the media are suggesting.

TalkSPORT are currently devoting a whole day to what they’re describing as a crisis, by encouraging Pool supporters to call in and moan about Slot etc.

Yes, they won today, and were better than us, but only over the two games we played them. However, thinking back to if Konate had not had those two nightmare games, we'd be 4-6 points richer. We lost 6-9 points from awful individual errors alone. Despite our awful season we are certainly second or third best in the league.
