Looks nothing like last season’s Mac Allister, who looked like he could play for PSG if they needed a new midfielder, or move to Real Madrid for £80-100m, or even play for Barca if they didn’t already have similar or better.

The weirdest thing is the loss of accuracy on the ball. I wonder if he screwed up his hip or groin or something similar

Mac looks tired after 15 minutes.

I know he's been run into the ground, but he's had a week off. Some of his passing today, the pass before the pass, was just diabolical.

You can make a case for two of the three goals being down to him too; turning his back for the first goal and then the abysmal clearance that set up the winner.

Still, I hope he enjoyed his holiday atleast.

Both teams are extraordinarily average and yet some united fans are moving like they've just won the champions league. This is such a weird stat to me. Like what bus the purpose? All three teams play in the league every year, and have for a long time. Both Manchester teams have been good for long stretches, and we've been shit for some. I dont like this having hapenned, but eventually this kind thing is bound to happen with enough seasons.
