Anything anti-Dipper
Reading those comments you would think that we were the ones 10 points clear at the top of the table. How can anyone in their right minds seriously believe it was anyone’s but City’s this year? We have done well to push them as far as we did.

Also conveniently ignoring the blindingly obvious fact that if we played the same players as we did on Sunday, they would be knackered and underperform anyway. And presumably then we would end up with a vastly weakened team against Liverpool. Clearly if you have 3 games in quick succession, all of equal importance, and you have to “sacrifice” one then it’s the middle one.

Some real mental gymnastics going on over there
Mate, you play the pick the side according to the circumstances of the present. Utd were never going to win the league this year at this point. Go over past games all you want but the fact of the matter is that the league was done weeks ago and certainly after City beat Villa.

The side picked tonight was 1000% the right one. All Utd care about at this point is: a) winning the Ropey League, b) beating their biggest rivals on Thursday.

The fact that they could try and also handicap their biggest rivals financially by playing a weakened side tonight was just glorious luck.

Feck the Dippers.

The dippers being the dippers, blaming our team selection for them not being in the CL next season rather than the fact they're shite. It's never their fault.

This shows the vast chasm mentality-wise between United (and by extension Ole) and City (Pep). You could even throw us (LFC) into the equation for the sake of comparison. In the 18/19 season we were so far ahead at Christmas, some pundits were saying we had the league sewn up and there was no way back for City. Some said City could do it because they'd done it before; they knew how to win leagues and they had the mentality of champions. And yes, they kept clawing back and hoping we would slip up, and we, in turn, kept drawing games we should've won. But the point is that Pep and his team never stopped believing until the end, and with a few favours from refs (like Kompany not getting sent off for a clear red card tackle in the pre-penultimate game), they did catch us, and they did win the league.

This weekend City lost to Chelsea and gave United the tiniest sliver of hope. And what did they do with it? Pulled their trousers down and took a big shit all over competitive integrity is what they did, pissing away the first real opportunity they've had in years to fight for the big prize. They seem to take it for granted that they'll be there or thereabouts again next season, but can they be so sure?

Another chance like this may never come in the next decade, especially with the scrutiny VAR and the PGMOL are likely to be under next season (plus the fact Howard Webb is now retired). Anyone who's been paying attention knows they are nowhere near Top 4 in the league without all the penalties they've been gifted since last May. It's only gonna get harder and harder to mask all the "favours" they tend to get.

Schedule be damned...United had a duty to fight until the end, engender some excitement for neutral fans by making a title race out of even the slimmest of chances. And they blew it...Not through valiant yet thwarted effort but through sheer spite and cowardice.

And it just goes to show the state of the journalism in this country that they're not being called out for it, or that no one is questioning how their decision to field such a weakened starting 11 at this crucial stage of the season, when so much is at stake for everyone (including themselves), impacts on the integrity of the game. Instead, Sky and BT are celebrating a soulless victory by the league's richest team.

Our society is fecked from top to bottom, and what's going on with the football is symptomatic of dangerous levels of corruption among the powerful, and apathy among the rest of us. We all need to wake the feck up.
RAWK is back.

If I were a Liverpool fan (shudders) i'd be directing my anger at whatever idiot or idiots in the club agreed to play the rearranged game on Thursday. If I could see the scenario playing out exactly like this then they should have.

See, this requires the use of common sense. Having common sense and being a Liverpool fan RAWK poster are clearly mutually exclusive concepts.

EDIT: Felt I had to make a change. Not all Liverpool fans are as bad as the mentals that post on RAWK. Also, not all RAWK posters are Liverpool fans, but they're all equally mental.

They are all deranged. I do pity them. That's a lie, no I don't.

Take rivalries and all that out of it, imagine thinking any football club should put its own players at serious risk of injury because your club couldn't get a decent finish on its own merit

A win vs Liverpool and a win in the EL final, and we can probably have our best season post Fergie.

Not sure their call.

Only a couple of options and apparently, West Brom wouldn't change their fixture.

With other games, the Cup Final and Europe, wasn't much else left.

They should have played the United/ Liverpool match the next day. That was obvious at the time.

I’m not sure if there were any other options except this week - disclaimer I haven’t studied the fixture list…

It's interesting how so many of them just completely disregard this season and believe they will be back to title challengers next year by default.
They forget that over the course of the PL this season is the norm, last season is a one off.

They've always been the best team in the league. Ferguson just had the FA in his pocket all those years.

So they think Ole is good enough to win the league now (it's just that he 'threw it away')?

So many contradictions.

RAWK exists in some strange inter-dimensional space outside of what we would call the real world where it's possible to be both a terrible manager with nothing players and also capable of winning the league.

Didn't Klopp field a weakened team, in the FA Cup, when they had their Super Cup ?!

Chelsea at Anfield when there was a fabulous assist by 'Slippy' Gerrard to Drogba.

We remember these but they don't.

I mean let's face it. We all know this is the perfect excuse to point the blame elsewhere for the possibility of them failing to qualify. What do they want us to do, play full strength sides against everyone within 5 days?

If you have to play a weakened side against Leicester or Liverpool, you choose Leicester. They'd do the exact same if roles were reversed.

The same twats frothing about weakened team last night would have been delighted to see the same 11 fielded on Thursday against the 'greatest team ever to win a title in empty stadiums and then struggle to finish in the top 4 next season of all time TM'

I can't remember why I joined this war.
What I find hilarious, is that if they were in our position, wouldn’t they do the same? Their manager complained about the same amount of games but in more days than we had. Besides aren’t Bruno, Pogba, Rashford, Shaw all useless? So they are good now and they are supposed to safe their embarrassing season?

Weird bunch.
What are you talking about? Klopp never complains about fixture congestion, he takes it like a champ without moaning about it for days to the press. Oh wait...

City, Chelsea and us will be stronger next season so there are no guarantees for them to finish top four, let alone becoming Champions.

I’ve seen some of them using the argument that they had 2 games in 2 days on 2 different continents. That would be a valid argument if they had played Villa hopped on a plane to Qatar and played the exact same 11. Did they do that? Quite rightly no. So why some are bringing that up is truly baffling

Has anyone read the Guardian article today about Stevie Me learning from SAF on secret phone chats, and basically gushing about how amazing SAF has been helping him manage Rangers to success, plus what a legend SAF is?

I can’t think that has gone down well over at the asylum.

A testament to what a great man Fergie is. A United legend, an Aberdeen legend but over all that it’s the human that comes first and he has no trouble whatsoever giving a Liverpool and Rangers legend guidance.

So they say we affected the integrity of top 4 but also say that they should have been awarded the 3 points.

I reckon that would affect the integrity of the top 4!

“I’ll let you into a little secret: I’ve had a couple of conversations with him,” Gerrard said. “Since I retired we have parked our rivalry up and he gave me time on the phone to bounce a few things off him, a few questions to do with the management up here at Rangers. He was fantastic in those conversations. At some point moving forward I’d love the chance to sit down with him and have a coffee. He’s agreed to that and that’s fantastic from his point of view because he doesn’t have to give me his time, especially being a rival. But I think that goes to show what type of man he is. He’s not just the iconic manager we all know.”
Just some mutual respect. But like you said you know the dippers will HATE that.

Last night..
Exclusive picture just in, direct from the Old Trafford dressing room:
Embarrassing from that PE teacher. Sending out a reserve team and throwing in the towel to city and gifting them the title. I’ve never known a team throw in the towel like that when there is still a slim chance of winning a title. Sums utd up really.
feckin' P.E teacher.
...

I should be pissed off with Man Utd gifting Leicester 3 points, but for some reason I feel calm about what I have seen tonight. Two decades of Man Utd dominance was difficult to endure, but tonight, when the last bit of Ferguson's Man Utd has died, I feel good about it. We will be battling with the oil clubs for the league, no doubt about it, but this shower won't be anywhere near ...
Let's hope the fans don't get their own way with their own oil state.
...
So not only do they not get punished for their fans rioting and intentionally getting a game called off, they also get to throw a premier league game too?
What a fecking embarrassment from the premier league.
Best. Thread. Ever.

I absolutely love this thread. Basically they might as well rename their ground Goodison Park.

7 points off the top with 3 games to go and you throw the game because it's more important to feck us over

Gutless.
You spelt hilarious wrong mate.
Amazing how far they have sunk. Even more amazing is seeing their 'fans' delighting
Cast your minds back to Anfield where if we'd lost to Blackburn that would be it - we won and that shite couldn't even beat West Ham
Deluded inbred minging c*nts.
Must admit, I find it mental! While there’s a chance you go all out, which means rotating the squad a bit better than that. But instead he’s just rolled over and handed it to their city rivals without so much as a fight, the spineless, goblin-faced tit head
.
Saw something on Twitter the other day which pretty much sums up my thoughts on them - Ole does enough not to get sacked, but will never get them anywhere near the top 2 prizes.

They’ve been the best of a very bad bunch this season but long term they aren’t competing with Pep’s City, Tuchel’s Chelsea or, if we get our shit back together, Klopp’s Liverpool.
You're now your noisy neighbours lapdogs you fecking beauts
Difference between our fans and their 'fans'
The majority are delighted. I'd imagine if we could have fought against Everton yet lost the league we'd be all fecking gutted - but they are all made up
https://www.redcafe.net/threads/post-match-vs-leicester-city.462724/

Plastic club. Plastic fans. None of them give a shiny shite about their own club. Embarrasing gobshites. Not like any of them supported them before 'success' and not like any of them fecking go - you can see from the thread.
Enjoy plastic c*nts
That Manc thread

Plastic c*nts
So, yeah, United just conceded the title, at home, to their city rivals, rather than push them to the wire.
There was an argument to be made for changes, but so many? And with a bunch of kids? For what reason? Never seen a manager do that before.
OGS basically had to make a call. Field two weakened teams and hope to overcome, two sides both under-performing. Or field one very weak team, concede the title and give himself a better chance of beating just one team. There was no reason to go for the latter choice. None.
Well, there was one. The latter choice played better to the peanut gallery...
The only thing we have in common with them, is that we're both obsessed with Liverpool Football Club.
So, the ideal end to the season now is : Chelsea beat Leicester, we win our last four games to get top 4 by goal difference and Man City lose their last 3 games . The United fans might just think differently about their once proud club actually throwing a premier league game.
The ideal end of the season is when the final goes against Palace, irregardless of the result.
Just shows how far they have fallen.
Christ on a bike, if that's their back-up team, they're winning nothing of note any time soon. I thought they were supposed to have a deep squad? City and Chelsea squads are better than that and next year, after 2 or 3 signings, so will ours.
It wasn’t, they could easily have played a much stronger team than that. They just didn’t want to.
My point is that they are squad players but they are shit. A few injuries to their 'first choice' next season and they'll be mid-table.
They're doing what they are doing, as they are resting players for us, the team they are obsessed with, their cup final, their nemesis, their last thought at night and the first thought in the morning, its always about us. They're obsessed. Take it all as a compliment.
Told all the lads in work to lump on Leicester today and no one agreed with my reasoning.
At least I got on at 7/4. Haven't had a bet in about a year but when it's thrown at you...
Still wanted United to win but there's no point being delusion.
"Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's transfer plea to Man Utd as he congratulates Man City on title"

https://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/news/solskjaer-man-utd-transfer-demand-24088469.amp?

Didn’t Ole say recently that they wouldn’t give up? Well tonight they absolutely did give up. Ole is an absolute joke.
As Jim Bowen would say, look at what you could have won
They are not worthy of it anyway.
Too true. This list doesn't make good reading for them does it.

2020-21 Manchester City
2019-20 Liverpool
2018-19 Manchester City
2017–18 Manchester City
2016–17 Chelsea
2015–16 Leicester City
2014–15 Chelsea
2013–14 Manchester City
The day Ferguson announced his retirement in 2013 I knew that they'd instantly fall back into the pack. I imagined they'd win 1 title in every 4 or 5, something similar to Chelsea's ratio. I never would have dared dream that their return would be as bad as it has been. And the best thing is, I don't see it changing any time soon. This season was their best chance and even with all the decisions and rub of the green going in their favour, not to mention no crowds, they were still in no danger of winning it.
Next year will see us, City and Chelsea challenging and it's going to take a 90+pts total to win it. United are not in that bracket (have they EVER amassed 90+pts in a season?)
Their obsession with us is superb. In with a chance of winning the league (a slim one but a chance) and all they are arsed about is us. I love it.
