Some more gold on RAWK on VVD/Referring/pundit bias against them and how Ancelotti/Pickford are scumbags:

The thing that hurts most in the Premier League and Mike Riley’s two-faced, lying cuntishness. I feel like they’ve declared to the rest of the league that it’s open season on Liverpool players by choosing to turn a blind eye to Pickford’s recklessness. I am still desperately hoping we are working behind the scenes to get Riley out of that job. There are times when the right thing to do is hold your hands up and say “we got that one wrong.” But it seems like the only thing this guy knows to do is double down.

Not that is groundbreaking news that Carragher talks absolute bollocks as we all know by now but he is talking shit again saying we buy someone to replace VVD in January.

You can not replace the best centre back in world football, impossible, simple as that. Bring in any other defender from another club and there will be problems, just as we will get with Fabinho, Matip, Williams, Gomez, etc. The job is to see how we fair in the next months and go from there. If the desperate happens and Matip is constantly injured or others are then maybe another decent defender to shore up numbers, but that's it.

Just tired of Carraghers constant sky/talkshite click bait now, all he does is use the club to his own advantage. Wish the guy would just go back to supporting Everton instead of acting like a gobshite mouthpiece.

From before kickoff to the the final whilst, this utter c*nt needs to have shit chanted and sang toward him. Non-stop. Drive the scumbag over the edge.

Pathetic attempt of trying to take the moral high ground and try to kiss up with those lunatics,he should grow a spine and tell the truth.

Came here to check up on that. No response yet then? Are they just hoping it’s all going to blow over? I won’t be happy until they have admitted they have fecked up and have a plan in place for putting it right. Followed by a grovelling apology and someone getting fired. They are in charge of the lively hood of hundreds of millions of pounds worth of talent, and get paid well for doing so. If they feck up this monumentally, there needs to be repercussions.

I've been saying this since the game finished. Now is time to take action in a court of law. What has the club got to lose at this point? We've just lost a massive pillar of our team for the season and almost lost Thiago as well, because Everton knew that because 'It's the Merseyside Derby' they'll be able to get away with more.

I'm glad Wijnaldum specifically called Everton out. Mane, Origi, VVD, Thiago (hoping he's back ASAP). Enough is enough.

Good to have it confirmed that there was no official reply yet. Quite incredible when you think about it, club of our stature in the league to go for better part of a week now without getting an official reply and explanation from the governing bodies. It stinks to high heavens the way these shits are handling any level of scrutiny. They take it as personal offence, close ranks, throw shit, spin and silence and it will result in them again deliberately fecking us over. Just a vicious cycle perpetuated by desperate need to cover up incompetence and mediocrity.

I'm hoping desperately that LFC keep pushing for an honest answer and take it as far as possible. It really is the only thing we have left. They can not treat us any worse, they can't protect our players any less. Our reward for being the most fair and sportsmanlike team is to consistently get shortchanged and experimented on. feck them.

Straight from the Trump/Bannon/Cummings playbook: create an alternative truth that your supporters can buy into. Hardly surprising, it's the times we're living in.

Indeed. However, my personal favourite line is:

If I were Liverpool fan I would start a petition to get PL trophy for being "most fair sportman like team in PL"

It's never good when a player get seriously injured or hurt, and we all wish VVD the best. Having said that, it's truly a joy to witness this thread being as active as it currently is. Injuries aside, let's hope it continues.

Your sentiments exactly.

I do wonder however if we would ever find any expression of sympathy on that cesspool for a player like James who was injured through a reckless tackle by VVD?

Maybe. They aren't all that classy, but mostly in that scenario they would probably not care much and just mildly act sympathetic towards James. I don't think their mods would have removed any horrible comments or anything like that though, or maybe they would.

This place can be a negative cesspit at times, but RAWK is like the ramblings of absolute madmen. And why does the website look so poor? It's basically impossible to view it on your mobile.

There is definitely an element of confirmation bias. The well-reasoned logical posts that make great points aren't gonna be quoted in here.

Saying that I don't think I've ever actually been on the site so it could all be like that for all I know

It definitely is closer to what you see reported in here than it isn’t.

Their mods are quite the piece of work, slightly agenda-driven.

Liverpool players struggling to sleep
Van Dijk’s absence will be felt. His injury has had a profound impact on his teammates, with Georginio Wijnaldum admitting that the players are devastated.
“We're still devastated. This was different than normal," Wijnaldum said, per the Mirror. "The way it happened was really hard for us, and everyone still has a really bad feeling about it.
"None of the players slept. It's a hard one to take and it was a hard one for the team."
Cant sleep

Christ how mentally fragile are they that one player getting injured causes them to come out with this embarrassing shit? Imagine putting one of your own players on such a pedestal, it's like Liverpool fans and players get infected with this religious zealot attitude to their team. Imagine us doing this when Ronaldo was injured (who's about 10x the player), or Rooney at his peak. Or Vidic or Rio (both superior defenders over a longer period). We just shrugged and got on with it. We didn't take out a news article asking for the whole world's pity. They really think they're some kind of special entity don't they? Absolutely oblivious to their own mania.

I think they are aware of not winning trophies any time soon, or not easy as last season, not a good squad depth, so preparing the world (English football media) for excuses when it happens.
"We would have won a treble if VVD wasn't Pickforded"
"Definately number 7 la, with best ever footballing angel on the pitch."...
Because they are the only club with injuries, maybe PL should be stopped until he comes back?

Soaring like a candy wrapper caught in an updraft
the funniest thing for me has been how many of them are hailing the idea of a European Super League created by American multimillionaire capitalists because they're upset about a few rough tackles in a fecking derby. These are the same tits who call Fergie a champagne socialist.

Not RAWK, but I genuinely saw a liverpool fan say on twitter today, ''It's time the media ask tough questions of everton. The media love them'

Talk about a lack of self awareness

Some more nuggets:

This is so disingenuous from Ancelotti. If it had been Pickford‘s first offense then okay, give him maybe the benefit of the doubt but this clown has more previous than any other keeper I know. I bet they all had a good laugh about it after the game, sorry my fecking arse. Karma is a bitch Pickford, it’s waiting for you, you prick.

This needs closure. They need to provide answers or at least have the decency to say they won’t be providing what we have asked for. To leave it hanging is pure disrespect.

Had a dream about VVD last night. He was in a gym in Manchester working out, and I was on a bike, and I started his song, and all the gym started singing as well. fecking brilliant it was

And a shorter period. Or any period for that matter except the Moyes season.

Back to your point though, the entire Liverpool Football Club really are a special breed. It’s an injury ffs.

"Mother Therashford" could be my fave phrase from RAWK.

Any of them laying into Rashford for his off the pitch work needs to give their head a wobble.

Liverpool will have plenty of children suffering from food poverty, the kind of children he’s trying to help.

Surprised to see no reaction to the borderline offsides last night. Expected this thread to be bustling today
I highly doubt their they would watch a solitary United match late into the night. I hardly watch any 'pool games unless it is them against the other top 4.
The matchday thread on the PSG forum last week was glorious though.

We are due another RAWK meltdown this weekend.

Totally forgot about that aspect of RAWK.

They have a match against West Ham this week. And Moyseh is full of surprises this season. Fully expecting one this week too.

I hope the Lad recovers fine, but Liverpool are in a crisis in defence, RAWK must be golden right now.

Joe Gomez: Liverpool defender suffers injury during England training
Joe Gomez was a first-team regular for Liverpool last season as Jurgen Klopp's side ended the club's 30-year wait for a Premier League title; Liverpool are already without central defender Virgil van Dijk
