Gotta love the idea that Liverpool fans are deluded enough to think their club has any say whatsoever in our transfer business

It is because when Liverpool / other big clubs want a player, the agents and/or selling club will leak United interest. Which will usually be massively overblown after a simple enquiry, if not completely fabricated, in order to drive the urgency and price in their favour.

Therefore when they sign a player like Nunez or Jota, who United have made tentative enquiries about previously, they genuinely believe the player has chosen Liverpool over United. When in reality they never had the option to join United.

So now they believe players prefer to go there. Which tbh will be true with some players but definitely not the majority.

People don't realise the guy went something like 7 months in 2022 without playing a match. I think a key reason Ten Hag is playing him every game now (and I think he will tonight too) to get his match experience back up.

Finally ready to accept Nunez is shit, but some on here still think he'll 'come good'.

Should be scoring that chance when one on one , shouldn't be giving the keeper a chance really. Can't just be blasting the ball and hope it goes it. Your a professional footballer ffs.
