Television Recommend me a TV Show (more TV reviews now)

They're all on YouTube with English subtitles. They're half a second out of sync, which is slightly annoying, but I think they're also on iPlayer. @Charlie Foley
Undercover has all the best Bulgarian actors in it. Hopefully you can find it on a streaming platform for a more enjoyable watch as it's really well shot and written. Google says you can find it on Amazon prime in the UK.

Anyway, hope you enjoy it! Tagging @neverdie in this as well.

I have Prime. Unfortunately, it's not on it in the UK. But I'll persevere with YouTube for now. Almost finished the first episode.

Ah thank you, was looking for something so will check this out.

The Testaments, the sequel to A Handmaid's Tale, has started really well. Episide 1 is excellent and ep2 is nearly as good. I hope the whole series remains as good.

Is she in the room with you right now?

What's The Blacklist like? I watched the first episode and James Spader is very entertaining but it feels like he's the only good thing in it.

You're absolutely right. He's the only good thing in it and he's very entertaining for a season or two and then the whole thing just decends into an even more unbelievable farce. His scene swallowing is gloriously over the top but can get a bit much depending on how much Spader you can take. I personally never got to the end but it was ridiculous fun for a while.

We've started watching Mad Men. One of the few bigger shows I've not seen. Any good?

Mad Men is great. At times a bit slow and obscure but still a top notch show, one of the best.

DTF St. Louis started strong but half way through the season got boring and just plain stupid.

Boots

Comedy drama about a young gay guy who joins the marines and goes through boot camp with his best friend.

On the second episode and it's pretty good.

Your Friends & Neighbors has really hit its stride in its second season.
Yeah, I didn’t think it’d be my jam but it has enough of my favorites to work.

Speaking of good casts on AppleTV, Matthew Rhys’ nervous energy is great as the mayor of a weird New England town on Widow’s Peak. Kate O’Flynn is good as well and I’d watch Stephen Root in anything, even if he was just fussing about a stapler.

The latest episode of YFAN is quite good.

Really enjoyed those first two episodes of Widow's Bay. Waiting for each episode is going to be a pain though!

The Fall and Rise of Reggie Dinkins

Mockumentary(ish) about a disgraced NFL player trying to make a comeback. Tracy Morgan, as the disgraced player, plays the same character he always plays, so give it a miss if you're not a fan of that. It's also got Daniel Radcliffe and Bobby Moynihan as the filmmaker and Reggie's roomate respectively. Oddball cast, but so far it's a lot better than I expected. Very funny.

Persevering with Peaky Blinders but after the first three series my interest has really waned.

Got Psycho-Pass, The Boondocks and Seinfeld on the go for when the mood takes.

Hacks (HBO) is decent.
A bit all over the place at times, sometimes good dark-ish humor, sometimes audience pleasing quirky silliness but entertaining altogether.

I really enjoyed that series. It was penned in for a second season but sadly the money got pulled from it.
