I've been messing around online over the past few weeks. Such a great game to just load in and have no direction. Great for playing inbetween games with big, solo campaigns.

Nah I don’t agree with that. There’s another prequel story in there leading to the black water siege. Especially with the old Wild West when the gang was in its prime.
Bingo. Playing as Hosea or maybe even Dutch (or the brothers who died at Blackwater), with a young Arthur Morgan in tow. We have seen how the gang declined and eventually ended, now lets see how it began and when it peaked.

Just started it (for the first time). Played the entire first chapter in a sitting.

This is medicine after the torture of playing Black Flag.

The RDR2 story has nowhere to go though.
Well, I mean it's true, it doesn't from a future perspective, but since RDR2 is a prequel to RDR1 it only follows that RDR3 would be set further into the past. Here's the thing, Red Dead 1 is set in 1911 onwards. Red Dead 2 is set in 1899 onwards. Could easily make a point that we have yet to have a game set in the actual 'Wild West'.

My premise for a future game would be some kind of exploration into the early life of Dutch; perhaps deal with his formative youth on the back of losing his father during the Civil War. Have the protagonist as a sort of proto-Arthur, or even young Arthur himself, adopted by Dutch.

There’s also scope to delve in to all the good times Arthur spoke about in the past. I’d like to play those, while they were having a great time committing robberies and tha.

I have a PS5 now and installed my PS4 version of RDR2

It seems very glitched. I’m getting wanted levels for very random things. Like killing O’Driscolls in side missions I’m getting wanted for murder (like it thinks I’m killing random NPCs), I got a wanted level when I took the murdering prostitute into the sheriffs office (again as if it was an everyday NPC). I’m getting wanted for “vandalism” randomly when I’m just riding my horse around the towns, literally not breaking anything. To stress these are just examples and I’m getting wanted levels ridiculously often for tiny things, if anything at all.

Had none of these issues on the PS4 and I played it through twice. Is it a new update messing it up or because the PS5 isn’t converting it well?

Anyone else had any issues on the PS5?

Insane that Rockstar built this incredible world and it's just sat there doing nothing. I'd pay £50 for some proper DLC. Hell, why did they bother adding the RDR1 map if they're not planning on remastering the original? They've even abandoned the online game.

I really loved this game when I played it, and yet I've had no inclination or desire to replay it since then... No idea why.

I re-played it a few months ago and enjoyed it more than the 1st time. Impossible if you are a completionist though without any guidance online
