Thanks to the following 45 members for submitting lists of 30 players which have been counted for this:

Macern, Lynty, Paul_Scholes18, RoyH1, Forevergiggs1, Njord, Rifer, bucky, Amadaeus, einstein, Bepi, André Dominguez, Lay, harms, Who's Kissing Cameras?, Synco, MackRobinson, el3mel, anant, abdo99, Shaw Mee Tah Mané, diarm, DWelbz19, Megadrive Man, joker00, Sokz, Skorenzy, giorno, KirkDuyt, Gio, Nialinho, BootsyCollins, MalcolmTucker, luisnani86, Marat, TheMagicFoolBus, Nicoseth, Iceicebaby, RooSSaili, OutlawGER, snowkarl, Manoucha09, Swarlos, Danish Voice, BBRBB

Those members, while mostly United fans, also cover Juventus, Benfica, Liverpool, Real Madrid, Feyenoord, Rangers, Chelsea, Bayern, PSG, Pochettino and many other followings.

Overall, there weren't as many submissions as I'd have hoped, which has led to some questionable names lower down the list, but the top 10-20 shouldn't have too many complaints once we get there.

Great job Damien!

Regarding the bolded bit: that's to be expected with any ranking though. In the end it comes down to which competitions or clubs or specific matches were watched by the voters and their own criteria applied to them, so even accounting for bias I believe, if nothing else, it at least gives us a pretty good idea of which players have caught the eye the most over this period.

True. There was one person whose list was pretty much exclusively Premier League only. I like the idea the Guardian had where they subtracted the highest score from the total to reduce any outliers, but we didn't have enough lists submitted to do that.

Good stuff, Damo! Sample size definitely makes for some dodgy calls, but I’m excited to see what the top 20 or so looks like.

Just FYI (probably too late now) but your graphic in the tweet has Ake’s nationality as English.

I knew I'd mess one of the flags up, which is why I showed the graphics to @The Stain and @RedSky last night so they could hopefully spot any problems that I was blind to. Cheers guys.

I can fix it and resubmit. Thanks for letting me know.

Poor Stefan de Vrij, destined to be criminally underrated. 78 places below De Ligt.

So no Lukaku at all. I guess there is a strong bias against him. Same with Evans and Smalling who have been better than Maguire for last year. Also how does any United supporters vote for De Gea after the year he had?

He's 4th. Probably fair. Could maybe interchange him with Mane in top 3
He hasn't been better than any of the other top 9 players on that list. Werner has been better than him and he's somehwere in the 30s.

Lewandowski has scored 30 goals in 25 games this season, 40 in 47 last season.

Werner's scored 23 in 25 this season, 19 in 37 last season.

Nominations cover both the start of this season and the last few months of last season and Lewandowski's scoring record has been impressive for both.

Yeah fair enough guess I'm more recency bias plus I think Lewa is a flat track bully.

That’s a solid top 10 to be fair. You can make changes and have debates, but it is pretty solid! Very well organised and interesting take lads, well done!

That Is a solid list. The only thing surprising for me is Jadon Sancho on 21. I think there were a lot players in that top 40 that should have been above him.
