It's funny people are remembering his stint at Swansea rather than the fact that he just won the league in France with Lille.

Burak Yilmaz won the league with Lille too and I can honestly say, being a Turk who was born and raised in Australia - he's dog shite.

Yilmaz is 35, had a shit career + Euro so no comparison to Renato (23) who had an excellent Euro. Maybe Sanches has improved as a player now? That was the point I was making. You can't judge him on his few games for Swansea.

Was pretty good at Benfica prior to going to Bayern. Interesting one to watch

Geebs, he's got the ingredients to be a good player.
I don’t see that he’s what we need. Yet. Our first should be a tackler who can pass & sit allowing others to play. I don’t think we have the budget to go adding 2 in CM. Especially when we have a couple of promising players ourselves on the verge of breakthroughs

You're probably right, we need a player who compliments Pogba and Bruno. A proper defensive minded midfielder.

Yes. And that someone isn’t someone who’s going to be all over the midfield, it’s gotta be someone who sits and plugs the holes

How is it possible? Why loan to buy when there's other teams which would likely buy straight away? Very odd.

Probably because the entire continent of Portugal is currently propped there

If it’s a loan with an option, wouldn’t he have been worth a gamble for us?

What’s to lose? If he’s shit, send him back.

We literally only have 3 specialist CMs

Us, Liverpool and Arsenal could all have done with him. I think he might have chose Wolves because of the Portuguese contingent and because of his past negative experiences at a big club. He's still young, probably a good move for his footballing development.

We shouldve signed him but it seems we dont care about the midfield. He's better than any midfielder we have.

Not what we need at all. He's a ball carrier - average at everything else.

Traore and Sanches for Wolves is a very athletic midfield, both have the ability to be truly brilliant technically, I hope it clicks for them.

I’d hate to play against those two.
