Surprised it’s taken this long for someone to lose their rag on McTominay shirking responsibility over and over again. Imagine sharing a pitch with a teammate who frequently has three times less touches as his midfield partners. I’d be livid doing his work for him for years too.

I wouldn't be concerned about leaks etc, 99 out of 100 teams that got beat over the weekend would have had a few verbal exchanges, it's only a story because it's us. I find it more revealing what the media don't talk about, are the press simply uninterested in other teams, or is it more clandestine?

I would be pissed too if I were Bruno or Martinez. Both Lindelof and McTominay were repeatedly caught strolling back into defense after losing or standing too high up the pitch. I mean, if you are out of position, you bust your guts trying to get back in. Too many of our players just stand with the hands on their hips or strolling about making no effort to track back. Say what you want about players like James, but at least they ran their lungs out:

If that was McTominay or Lindelof, they wouldn't even bother - yes James lost the tussle, but he at least tried. Effort is the very least one can expect from players.
Yep, exactly this. Don't really dig players out for lack of quality. lack of effort if where it kills you.

What makes you assume that this is the first time? Just because it was leaked now?

I would be very disappointed if there was not a bust up in the dressing room after getting schooled at home by a team that costs a fraction of the Utd team.

I would be far more worried if there was apathy among the players after such a game.

These things are not abnormal , even at successful clubs.

Some players have the media running to their defence at every opportunity. Wouldn't surprise me if that's the payback for the gossip they get from their entourage.

Regardless of the source, I'd be quite disappointed if there wasn't a bust-up after successive 3-1 losses.

Be great to see the fight carried out on the pitch, rather than Brighton waltzing around us effortlessly.

To be honest players such as MCT have always remained invisible in the hope that their lack of technical ability will go unnoticed. I feel there’s a strange sense of self-consciousness that dominates his play. Not surprised if Bruno called this out

It’s the sun . . and, like every other bottom dredging gossip reporting tabloid, it’ll take a snippet of information and twist it to hell in a cheap attempt to make something spectacular out of something mundane.

They could equally have written that the United squad is furious with itself and determined to improve following some close defeats against good sides while going through a radical reset in playing style.

IMO it has next to no relevance and it’s certainly not worth getting out of shape over it.

And anyhow, if they’d written that the squad was all laughs & giggles following a home defeat how would you feel about it?

You have to laugh. Even if the worst times of Jose and Ole I can’t recall this much ‘drama’ both on and off the field

If true, those feckers need to transform some of that emotion in the locker room into more passion on the pitch.

Fairly normal to have arguments in dressing room in a bad period of form. It would be more worrying if they were not getting into each other. They've been dogshit and need to sort it out amongst themselves or they risk getting a manager fired.

I’m sure this is fairly normal at football clubs and is probably a good sign that the players give a shit. God knows how many ‘bust-ups’ happened under the Ferguson times with the likes of Keane and Schmeichel in the dressing room.

You dont have to be stronger or higher to tell your teammate to get your sh*t together and fight for the win. When a captain yells at you, if he is correctly selected everybody should listen and amid it simply isnt good enough.

We dont need physical fights, we need a team who demands things from the teammates, who love the passion from football and are willing to run like hell against a good Brighton team in a difficult game. If we want that top 5, there are no space for mad jogging players who lost faith in the progress. I hope to see Amrabat going badshit crazy, yells and make perfectly timed tackles just like the WC, because that is one of the reasons they won so many games.
Tell that to Schmeichel and Keane when they had the fist fist.

Bruno isn't in any position to have a go at anyone.

A bit off topic, but do you remember when McTominay scored 2 against Leeds? He was on a hat trick when we got a penalty.

This was a chance for McTominay to get probably his only hat trick.

What happened? Did Bruno give McTominay the penalty? Nope.

A wee bit of a tangent there but Bruno is selfish and isn't captain material.

Good. Maybe if they kick the shite out of each other it might help the performances on the pitch. It never done much harm in Keane and Fergies days.

Good if true

I think as long as the manager is still in control I see no problem with it. It can be healthy and shows that they care... Hopefully that will inflame their senses and instill some fire in their bellies for the next round of fixtures.

I remember watching Sealey, Bruce and Pallister constantly go at each other hammer and tongs...at times though it looked like it would spill over into a full scale fight

Then later Schmeichel came in and dragged even the quiet ones Irwin and Parker into their verbal bashings. Actually anyone within earshot wasn't safe from Big Pete.

On pitch and dressing room rows are normal and are part of the game. I'd be worried if they didnt happen.

So normal. At every level of football this happens so people, no point getting worked up about these types of stories. But because it’s United it’s news and generates a shit load of clicks.

Everything is magnified to feck with United.

Like the pap photographers around Altrincham, Wilmslow, etc. They barely bother taking photos of any City players out and about as the newspapers pay them very little, but if it’s a United player, they get good money for the shots.

It just means we are still huge even though we are wank

Notice how he was the two handsome chaps who got yelled at? I'm not saying envy was the cause but it probably was.
McTominay has a face like a baboons arse. Lindelof was probably too preoccupied with sweeping his hair over to notice he was getting yelled at.

True.
I remember a couple of years ago Rashford and Maguire swore at each once during a game at Palace and the media and a large section of the fanbase went into complete meltdown

Anything United related made up bullshit or not the more negative the better will get the clicks, views and engagement etc

Andy Mitten was saying that too. Add Gary Neville's comments about 'bugs in the dressing room' as well. It starts becoming clearer that people know what's going on and who's responsible.

This is normal and happens everywhere. I mean, they were blitzed at home. If they weren’t arguing/fighting then it would be worrisome

Good. When you get embarrassed at home and your central midfielder touches the ball 22 times you're going to have something to say. I could play and touch the ball more than that.

Ten Hag's biggest job is to root out the snakes and those that don't have the mentality for the task. Some of them work above him.

Andy Mitten was determined to pretend that our formation had been leaked despite at least one Brighton player and their manager saying how they’d been taken by surprise with our formation/tactics. And the flow of the game making it obvious that happened. You could clearly see that Brighton had to tweak their approach to get into the game, after struggling for the first 15-20 minutes.

Bruno works his socks off every game, which is also proven by him being top three hardest working players in the league. He's the number one creator in top five leagues. He has more goals and assists than pretty much anyone in his position. McTominay doesn't even bother to sprint back trying to get into defensive positions. He has proven year after year that he isn't good enough, which is fine, but nor is his workrate of the required standard.

Only a few players in the squad have earned a right to have a go at players: Martinez and Bruno definitely being among that few.

Unbelievable that this keeps happening but that useless lump of a player keeps getting games.
