Goodfellas is my favourite mafia film of all time.

Loved Vice City too even if he hated it.

I literally just saw this on BBC.

One of my favourite films growing up as a kid was Field of Dreams as it was a film my dad and I bonded over.

Since he died I found it always a place to have a moment with him again. Liotta was amazing in it!

Rest in Peace.

If you only ever watch one mafia movie, it has to be Goodfellas. RIP Ray.

Very sad.

Just watched Many Saints a couple of weeks back which I enjoyed good deal more than I thought I was going to and I thought he was excellent in it as well.

Hmm… just saw Blow show up in my recommendeds in streaming and was going to watch it; I will have to add Goodfellas to that now in honor of his memory.

Two almost infinitely rewatchable movies for me.

"If you build it, he will come."

My first contact with his filmography was by watching Field of Dreams as a kid. That quote above and his performance as Joe Jackson already made him an immortal before I became old enough to watch Goodfellas, Copland, Blow and more.

That entire opening monologue and sequence itself deserves its own fan base.
Yea, one of my favourite movies growing up. I don't know how many times I watched it, but it's a lot. 100s would be an exaggeration but it must be pushing 30/40, if not more, by now.

I really wonder why he didn't have a 'bigger' career. Goodfellas is so iconic it should have propelled him into A-list stardom.
There doesn't even appear to be a reason for why he fell off like drugs or domestic abuse, other than being a little too selective and turning down the chance to play Anthony Soprano.

Forget about it.

Goodfellas must have the best and most aptly casted cast of all time.

Rest in piece. Very young :(

Goodfellas was brilliant and I must admit I loved Field Of Dreams
