Kipketer paced that one all wrong. Rudisha reigns supreme.
He went all out for the gold, you just can't afford to let Rudisha get out in front and dictate the race. He tried something different, foolish but commendable

Oh my word, this pole vaulting competition is nuts. The Brazilian kid has just got an Olympic record. Wow.

WOW, Da Silva (Brazillian) leading the reigning champ, he's just jumped about 10cm above his all time record

Did anyone just see the boxing match there for the Heavyweight gold? The Russian got his face absolutely punched off him and he somehow ended up winning the fight and gold medal :lol::lol:

Should be an inquest into fixing there....
Clear payout behind the scenes, the ref not giving a 10 count at least once in the 3rd was a joke

Most medals of the Scandinavian countries. Get in!

Then at the Winter Olympics in 2018 both Norway and Sweden are gonna win lots of medals, while we have to look back on our one and only medal at a Winter Olympics, the silver medal in curling from 1998.

Do any of you people know how much training and physical effort goes into Dressage for both rider and horse?
A vast majority of horses are not "forced" to do it, they are asked to and they want to do it obviously. You can't force an animal much bigger and stronger than yourself to do stuff with so much elegance and passion. It just doesn't work.

Then gymnastics should be banned, too, because most of the elite athletes competing in those sports are trained at a very young age and they suffer lots of injuries from it...
or even marathon, Kalenjin kids from Kenya get told to train for it at a minor age, which is not healthy at all.
Most sports have bad sides, i honestly don't see why Dressage should not be considered a sport as it obviously is one due to the physical and mental (concentration is a major part of it, just like in shooting, golf or other sports) training that is necessary to compete on the biggest stage.

Also with the horse riding stuffs, surely the horses should get the medals.

Rider: "Hi Horse, would you like dance around and perform?"

Horse: "that sounds mint!"
Have you ever sat on a horse? Then you would know that Horse riding, Dressage, Jumping or whatever only works when horse and rider work together. If you hurt or force a horse, it will buck and you will fall down. That is why i'm very much against "sports" like Rodeo or Bullfighting because that is where you hurt an animal to make it angry and that is disgusting.

Also with the horse riding stuffs, surely the horses should get the medals.
This is true, but as i said it's about working together, so both deserve it. But i very much agree, that the horses should get more attention.
