Very modest man even though he was from Saudi royal family. Stayed loyal to Sir Henry Cecil through his lean periods.

Horse racing is a true love of mine, and Khalid Abdullah's racing colours are something you will forever associate with top quality horses, and it's testamant to him that he stuck with possibly the greatest ever trainer in Henry Cecil when things got tough, who in then turned up training the greatest race horse we might ever see in Frankel. Zafonic and Enable are two other fantastic horses that will long live in the memory.

I hope there are some offspring or trust will keep his breeding industry and racing colours going now he's gone.
