Amongst footballing managerial 'Gods'
2 years to late. Glad that Zidane is the front runner. I feel like he will get us back to winning trophy, but not get us play attractive brand of football. Ten Hag or Pochettino is my choice as the problem at United is that we don’t have a style of play. Zidane isn’t known to implement a footballing philosophy.

English ?
“Zinédine Zidane is the favorite to succeed Solskjaer on the Manchester United bench!

The leaders of the club have asked their board to accelerate on the file.”

I’m not sure who are the leaders.

Goodbye Ole. I'm glad we can get back to loving you now and I'm sorry this didn't work out, but the nightmare had to end for our sake and yours.

You'll always be a legend and we'll never forget that night at Camp Nou.

As much as I vocally called for his sacking in the past month I wish things didn't have to end this way.

But this is the only outcome that can benefit all parties at this time.

Usually Fabrizio Romano speculations are accurate. I guess he has some good sources.

So is he sacked? Or still just reports and nothing official?

and if two of the golden chances Ronaldo and Fernandez spurned had gone in....such are the margins.

I don't like Castles but feel bad for him, he broke it first.... oh well

SOS to Zidane, even till the summer

It's the usual Romano spin and his sheep fall for it He just copies other people tweets over and over

Castles had it nearly an hour before him.

Still hopefully a lot of United fans will be happier now until the next time

Neil Custis broke it first
Castles broke the board meeting and suggested heavily he'd be gone by the end of it so you have to give him some credit. And we have to give him the benefit of the doubt that if he's first to report the initial board meeting, the result of said board meeting he's broke as well.

I'm sure Custis' story was also correct to be fair, but it seemed to be sourced from what happened in the dressing room with Ole and the players rather than board level.

The nightmare is finally over for now, so lets see what the next nightmare will be. I have no trust that we will appoint who will be needed.

Thanks Ole. OLE20 will.always be a legend bigger than Ronaldo and Rooney.

Thank God - Ole the manager is going. About 1 year late.
Getting a bit carried away there surely? Doesn't Rooney hold the all time goal scoring record and CR7 won a balon d'or for us?

Whoever it is it'll be better but it still won't be good.

Klopp, Guardiola, Zidane, Fergie. None of them could make chicken salad out of the chicken shit that is a spine of Maguire, Fred and McTominay.

Then just as well they don't have to settle for that spine.

Time to play your pre recorded Ole sacking video now surely Romano, you're an important man, so we wouldn't want to be bothering you for a new one on a Saturday night.

I had a feeling this would be his final game.

After the reports that players no longer want to play under him were published I wasn't surprised they didn't care today.

Why the board didn't find a replacement during the international break that I can't understand..

I just hope they will find somebody who will revive this season as it's not too late.

Parted company without asking the money of the rest of the contract, would be a great gesture
