You can have your opinion about the guy but please dont fool yourself with looking other players in other teams and thinking how they are way better then what we have atm. Its not copy paste method.

Could become a white elephant under a new manager.
His first touch and off the ball movement is so poor.

Should try him at RW and Sanchez at CF. Just to see how it plays out.

Maybe a new manager will utilise him exactly how his international manager does. Not playing to his strengths isn't going to make him look good. Bit like playing balls over the top to Ibra and expecting him to outpace defenders is how we're using him at the moment. His movement is fine, he's being asked to hold positions to give the team a structure, not really his natural game.

One serious question that somehow hit me this game and it's like the very basic thing for a striker: why does he never attack the near post?

It's fair enough that he's miles off pace and that he has a poor match, but it's downright infuriating that Mourinho sticks with it, doesn't change anything. If that was Rashford or Martial, they'd be hauled off at 60mins and shamed in public afterwards

He is really bad. I couldn't stand us signing him, and later surprisingly got fond of him, but he is really worse than I first thought. He is nowhere near first choice material for a team playing in CL.

How is this guy completing 90 upon 90?

I'm confident that if Martial had his undroppable status, we'd be better off. Not that anyone deserves said status, but Lukaku should definitely not.

He's costing us, offering absolutely nothing. Another undropable player that needs to be subbed at least.

Let him go in the next summer window. A player can be out of form but this guy struggles with the basics. His bottom level is league 2.

That’s the least of his problems.

He has absolutely no business at this club. Terrible, terrible footballer. Anybody who wishes to challenge that remark could only do so by referring to Wikipedia or whatever, not by watching him. He’s marginally better at football than Chris Smalling.

The criticism of his finishing is harsh. He's generally more than good enough in that regard, he's just going through a bad patch at the moment.

Unfortunately the criticism of his general play isn't harsh.

Watching him trying to control the ball or attempt any type of nimble footwork is embarrassing at times.

No, not really, it's not least of his problems if he at least wants to cement his position as a tap in/poacher master.

His decision making and overall play as of late making him look as the dumbest striker the club has ever had.

Knee-jerk reactions and all but I'd take Rooney from the LVG's era over this version of him.

He was really growing on me but this season he’s been shocking. Should be a backup option, instead he’s arguably our only striker.

Think when even Martin Keown is questioning your movement, there's something to it.

I don't know what you're all on about...

Somewhere Falcao is watching this and thinking that that is a solid performance for a striker at Old Trafford....

Didn't watch but guess it's more of the same from what people are saying.

Ironic that one of the most Mourinho loyal players is the one who's giving to get Mourinho the sack by the end.

Under soil heating.
He's bad at literally everything at the moment. Once his goals dry up he's completely and utterly useless.

The fact that he is the starting striker for the biggest club in the world gives me hope that at 26 it's not too late for me. I'm cheaper Woody! Give me a call!

I think it was Brighton in the FA Cup when Jose said some players hide from the ball, I'm convinced Lukaku despite never being dropped is one of those players he was on about

It’s the least of his problems because he doesn’t know how to play football. Him not being a near-post specialist is far down the list of things he lacks.

I can only say I hope he follows Mourinho out the door when he inevitably leaves this season.

It's an insult to our great club to have him as our current No.9

He meant Martial and Mata because you know Jose has his favorites.
