Won't deny he was limited but he was good at Everton so it seems a disservice to say he can't play in the league if you adapt to his strengths. I suspect his head had completely gone by the second season and that's just as big of a problem as any technical limitations. Situation isn't entirely dissimilar to Di Maria who was/is a good player but it didn't work out.What? We literally made him our main target man. Every ball went to him and all he did was either feck up with a poor first touch/ball control or with a miss.
Just because he's scoring doesn't mean he got better it just means he went to a weaker league. He's still the same fecking donkey
Before anybody says it though, Di Maria is obviously a superior player.
