Well it is according to this chump anyway  :houllier:

If we lose this match and we look back at the end of the season losing the title by 2 points, I think we'll have every right to place some of the blame on Rooney, as we lost just so he could satisfy his needs.

Of course this is all a bit premature, seeing as it even isnt confirmed he wont play. Just saying...
Good old Match Day thread. It never fails.

Rooneys our best player. Hypothetically speaking, if his form suffers massively because of this and he's missing efforts left, right and centre, I think some of the blame would have to lie with him. He done the dirty on his missus and thats just wrong. He didnt have to cheat on his wife did he? Obviously, he could go on to score 40 goals this season and this would be forgotten. Dont see the big deal personally.

If we'd won the league last season after Chelsea's blip coming after the JT scandal, theres no doubt people would've attritubuted our victory to that.

when someone says at the end...

'just saying....' it's usually to provoke a responce. Just saying like....hehe

----------------------------------

At the end of the day what worries me more is our midfield with o'shea in it. We're in the year 2010 ....hopefully he'll be have a great game

"Rooney's fault if we dont win the league", is a bit different to, "some of the blame would lie with Rooney...".

Thats just my two cents.

If Rooney plays and gets sent off, he misses three matches..

That would be far worse.

This is absolutely ludicrous, it's the Glazers fault that United won't win the league this season, not Rooney's, if it were to happen

SAF confirms he'll be playing Tuesday, he's been left out to avoid the abuse.
Fair play imo, protecting his players shows the love Fergie has for them.
All this "he owes it to the fans" crap people are spouting is nonsense.

The MatchDay thread is like most post-match interviews, emotions get the better of you.
