Is there any way to get a RSS feed for the posts from an individual user? Or alternatively, the RSS feed for my news feed (which is basically a collection of the users I follow)?

I’m not sure if this is what you mean but if you follow someone there’s an option called news feed when you click the account icon and their posts will be there

Yes, I know and use it already. Is there a RSS feed from the news feed? I'd like to follow the posts from my feed aggregator app.

Not that I can think of sorry. An RSS feed like you describe would need custom development.

If there is an addon available through the XenForo site I may consider installing.

This is weird because my Pexbo RSS feed didn't have anything about this post on it.

The closest I could find is this one: https://xenforo.com/community/resources/tl-the-following-alerts.6457/

It would be a workaround that achieves more or less the same objective. It enables email notifications triggered by certain types of user actions.
