So it's obvious now that the 3 match winning run was just a purple patch.

Normal service resumed.

I don't think so. We haven't lost in 5 games and are going into the break on the periphery of the top 4

Got a draw with 10 men. Not the end of the world. Unbeaten in 5. Keep this mentality

A clown of a manager. His cowardly tactics and idiotic subs cost us a win.

He is just a bluffer being carried by Amad and Mbeumo. Moments FC.

He lost me today with that cowardly second half to be honest. One of the most pathetic halves I've seen a United team play. Let this atrocious Spurs team grow in confidence for no reason.

If our players took our chances, at least a decent amount of them, we win without problems.

Can't do much with that shit finishing, and player's cramp near the end.

Disgraceful performance vs a very poor Spurs side. Again.

Point away at Spurs generally not the worst outcome in the world, mind.

Amorim is not it.

Can't keep a clean sheet against a toothless Spurs team that Chelsea battered last week in a feckin derby.

The Sunderland game has been the only convincing performance in this unbeaten run, and the run is papering over a lot of cracks. We are not a team with a cohesive attacking philosophy and we always concede. What are they doing in training?

Needs to start taking Bruno off. He doesn't need play every minute of every game.

Otherwise good improvement overall. Just worrying how our form drops after subs and giving chances away. Somehow we need to keep clean sheets

We are clearly not top 4 quality on the moment, and yet find ourselves in CL and EL spots three months in. Definitely much better than many thought we would be.

This team is different. Much much better character. When we got the corner I absolutely felt we would score.

We are slowly turning it around.

Solid result. A lot things need improving, no1 is our intensity when other teams shift to 2nd gear.

We look better than we do last season but I think this is way more to do with the fact that we play once a week and the club have spent a lot of money and signed some objectively good players. I still don’t see anything about the manager or the approach that has improved us. We’re still barely reaching the base line that predates him

Needs to sort his subs out.

Triple changes not needed when you're in control of the game.

The dalot sub was mindblowing,

I think the squad overall is good enough for top 4 actually. Especially when you consider we only play 1 game a week

That was a very, very poor showing against a shit Spurs side.

Glad we avoided disaster and got away with a point.

Needs to keep winning home games to show we’ve something to build on. If we lose at home to Everton next week the knives will be out.

We will be let down because his second team are woeful. Also, our midfield are just so so poor where there is no complete midfielder. Our midfielders have attributes that each other need.

Agreed. My prediction was 3rd, but I'd be elated if we get into any CL spot. Outside of Arsenal and City, the rest of the spots are genuinely up for grabs, especially with Pool and Chelsea sputtering so far.

Decent point against a good Spurs side. Still too many weaknesses in the squad to expect much more.

I dont know what’s wrong with our players loosing all intensity in the 2nd half. The subs were much needed as we were looking very tired.
Sesko should have scored - 1 great chance and another he should have made more of.

All in all, a draw is not the worst result though we should have got the 3 points.

What do you want Amorim to do, run in behind the Spurs backline and take the shots for Sesko?
No, just try to retain the ball and not cede the entire field to this shite Spurs attack. Could have been out of sight if we tried to put them under any pressure at all as shown by us scoring as soon as we were forced to come forward again.

Not shifting Mbeumo to the right and Cunha to the left made no sense either. Mbeumo was decent on the left but why mess with their positions as they're playing well?

Deserved the win.
We really didn't. We were happy to give Spurs full control of the game. Played like a small team and deserved to lose.

I hate this cowardly approach. Spurs are a shit team yet we set up like we were playing against City. We should at least aim to control games if the rival takes it fair enough but giving it away by design shouldn't be something we tolerate.

Switching halves to avoid shooting in front of our away fans in the second half felt very Allardyce-esque. As did our lack of ambition after we took the lead. Spurs were there for the taking but Amorim seemed to think 1-0 was a safe enough scoreline.

I'd rather not have Amorim spending more money this January. This formation is such a waste of time

Despite the improvement in results he’s just not the guy. He will always have a ceiling.
He’s so bad at in game management and continues to show no flexibility.
Banging the same drum but this system limits us.
Yet again we can’t have any control of a game getting away from us because we don’t have a midfield.

We can never have a spell of just 5-10 minutes of just recycling possession because the system simply doesn’t allow it. So pressure just keeps coming and coming.

Win the game early and sit back and soak up pressure fine but we are clearly not good at that at all. So stop doing it. We don’t get 2-3 goals ahead in games to just give up control in second halves.

He is just never ever going to be the guy with this “philosophy” of his.

Liverpool will finish 20 points ahead of us. They got the bad form out of their system.

That will happen if you sit back and dont go for a second goal.

Its Premier League football away from home.. you have moments, they have moments.

They didn't really pressure us until patches in the second half. Tel had a fluke touch, and deflection. Richarlison was lucky it was at him and one of our players was knocked down and couldn't get back the right side to play him offside.
