Rugby League 2026 @P-Nut returns to Rugby League - Retires after 2 games!

Cracking game at Warrington and a deserved win. Wigan didn’t look at the top of their form to be fair.

@T00lsh3d FC are back man!!!

Cartwrong gone and here you are smashing Cas ;)
I know….to be honest the sheer enthusiasm from the family was so much that I went and cooked tea. Didn’t stop me getting a blow by blow account plus 30 renditions of old faithful.

Honestly, think I prefer it when they lose

Peet said he was happy with the effort if not the execution tonight, which I think is fair. Begs the question though, even with a few injuries and whatnot, what the fecking hell were those two dogshit performances against Hudds and Cas all about? Not to mention the Good Friday bottlejob.

We've got to beat Bradford, put a decent display in and get some momentum back into this season, because then it's Saints in the semi, then Leeds then Hull KR. Out of the cup and seven straight league defeats is going to try any Wiganer's patience.

Been a really interesting start to the season. No one running away with it, but a lot of teams finding decent runs and good performances. Nice to watch - as a neutral of course.

Rovers on pomp again in the first half vs Cas 34-0, it's been too easy.
Cas have only been in the Rovers 20 once.

Hope we can keep it professional in the second half and climb up to third before anyone else plays.

Not watching it but looks like you’ve kicked into overdrive in the last few weeks.

We're lucky that it has been a hectic start to the season, which has allowed us to catch up.

I'd like a redo now in Vegas with Leeds, just for a better game than what we were treated to.
Yeah only real downside for you lot in a while.

Hopefully Wigan get their act together soon!

My first game back playing the proper code in about 2 years today, wish me luck!

I'm absolutely dreading the getting back 10 more than any other part of the game

Wow you’re a brave man. How old are you?

Hey yeah I'm alive, and we got the win!

What you referenced playing the proper code for the first time in years….does that mean you play union regularly?
I've played league for like 25 years, played union for the first time this last season as I'm now old and unfit, so playing union was a nice little breather.

Having played both I can definitely say that league is the more physically demanding if it was ever in doubt.

You’re a better man than me playing in your later years….my body can barely hold up to football.

No doubt leagues tougher from a cardiovascular perspective

Oh my body is broken don't worry about that

I just find it so hard to finally retire, pretty sure I've said I'm stopping about 5 times.

Feels a bit weird seeing Hall and Watkins scoring for the Rhinos. Feels like Hall in particular should be retired about 5 years by now.

Who will go first, Hall or P-Nut. This is the question

Well my comeback lasted 2 games, feel like I've broken my sternum, excruciating pain anytime I try and move in awkward positions or put any weight through my arms. Rugby league is a mugs game

I didn’t think people tackled as low as the sternum in rugby league

Speedy recovery and happy retiement P-Nut!
I'm still planning on playing again, see how long this takes to recover from first. More annoyed about missing the gym for the next week or so

Haven’t watched the Wigan-Leeds game but it appears the former are back to something like their best.

We where excellent for 65mins, tired at the end a bit but it was a superb defensive display and clinical in attack.

Still not sure we have enough to beat an in form KR but we’re in with a chance now.

Just can’t help yourselves you lot! You could’ve waited 3 weeks before you looked like Wigan again… pie eating bastards!

To be fair the bits that I did see you fully deserved the win!
