Those 300,000 conscripts mean sweet feck all if they are as poorly equipped as the Iraqis were on the eve of the ground battle phase of Operation Desert Storm. And the Iraqis were estimated to be 650,000 strong at the time.
The Iraqis were better equipped than the Russians imo, which is saying something given that most Iraqi military equipment was sourced from the Soviets.

 shots fired…

“Don't be embarrassed, you screwed up."

Yesterday Solovyov insulted Girkin, to which Girkin called him to a debate and promised to get him.

Instructed by the Kremlin to discredit Girkin?
Could be. Some say Girkin is also FSB product, but this time he dropped some bombs and perhaps too much constructed criticsm in his latest piece, calling Russian ministry of defense a 'thick cattle with IQ of a bottle cork'.

I can only imagine what situation will be if Ukraine will break through winter fortifications and start freeing other parts. Could be meltdown Alex Jones never dared to give us in his lifetime.

Funny how Vlad is using his propagandists to diss Girkin now that Igor has been far too truthful about what is actually happening on the ground.

That makes sense.

My first thought was a cyber attack.
There is another point to consider: Millions of people were either mobilized or left Russia to prevent that. That means a lot of people who know how to operate such facilities aren't available. Those who remain might lack the skills (or simply the numbers) to operate and maintain correctly. So naturally the number of simple (but effectful) accidents increases.

Another good point.

And I'm all out of bubblegum.

I don't think we're in the millions yet.

Some might say it's not much but in the end, that's superb news tbh. Girkin always film his interviews in a secret room that looks like basement, so he probably knows it's not safe for anyone with any alternative view.

Relatively peaceful dissolve of Putin's regime through consciousness of Russian society could start from that type of people like Girkin, who despite his crimes in the past still is somewhat patriot to his country and could even draw the line between reality and Kremlin's matrix. Let the snowball roll into something bigger. 2023 / 2024 could finally change something in Europe, so USA won't have to step every 100 years to clean the mess from mass genocide.

Remember, RedCafe is a football forum, so at times we should maybe concentrate more on that. Like our old friend Lukashenko does, who apparently is terrified about the state of Belarussian football, but doesn't discuss the war at the moment

Most of his videos are like this - publicly berating his subordinates about one thing or the other to make it appear anything that goes wrong in Belarus isn’t his fault.

An estimated 700k left Russia to avoid mobilization, 300k+ were mobilized, so could be well over a million. Maybe not millions, but a lot of people though.
I wouldn’t be surprised if the numbers are skewed towards Putin’s interests, as in more people have left Russia to avoid mobilization than has been reported.

Amazon helped out the Ukrainian government.

Since the day Russia launched its invasion Feb. 24, Amazon has been working closely with the Ukrainian government to download essential data and ferry it out of the country in suitcase-sized solid-state computer storage units called Snowball Edge, then funneling the data into Amazon’s cloud computing system.

“This is the most technologically advanced war in human history,” said Mykhailo Fedorov, Ukraine’s 31-year-old vice prime minister and minister of digital transformation, referring not just to weapons, but data, too. “AWS’s leadership made a decision that saved the Ukrainian government and economy.” Amazon has invested $75 million so far in its Ukraine effort, which includes the data transfer via the “Snowballs,” as they’re called. Fedorov, speaking at a tech conference in Las Vegas earlier this month, called it “priceless.”

Surely they are not that dumb to try attacking Kyiv again? It's just talk to keep some UA forces doing nothing around the border. Right?

That is the common argument, yes. To fix Ukrainian troops at the Belarus border.

However, it's also been argued that they could have done that at a cheaper cost than what they're doing now. The implication being that preparations may be serious and we shouldn't rule out another assault from the north.

Given the magnitude of the 200th’s losses, one European military official said, it “cannot be considered a fighting force.”
