Saka vs Foden vs Palmer

He never was in conversation. Half a season hot streak excluding.
I mean he scored 19 open play goals in the PL and 8 assists on top of that in 23/24 season. I can't think of any other non-striker attackers than Salah/Son who managed those numbers recently. He has been quite consistent with his output since he was 20 excluding the last two seasons, so I would say he absolutely was.

Palmer is much better than the other two. He's a proper game changing, match winning type of player while the other two look like they are still trying to figure things out.

It was complete nonsense. Rodri should have won, as he then won the Balon D'Or, because he actually was the best player in the PL and the world
Agreed. Saka had more PL goal involvements than Foden that season as well. It was a very good season from Foden, but I don't think he was as integral to City as Rodri was, or Saka was to Arsenal.

Feels like none of them have been great in 2025, although Saka and Foden have been out with long standing injuries to be fair.

He had 1 more goal involvement in the league. 16 and 12 assists versus 19 and 8. Goals will always carry more weight cause assists can vary wildly. Sakas assist for Trossards goal against City was just a 2 yards pass and some Trossard magic. Saka also took pens if I'm not mistaken.

Foden isn't a better player overall than Saka, but he was absolutely the best English player that season in the prem, though Rodri should have won poty.

Saka is the best out of the 3 for me. Palmer can surpass him or be on his level, but he needs to put some consistent seasons together first.

Foden has had one really good season since he broke onto the scene, is continually talked about as a generational talent for the past 5-6 seasons but when you look at what he's done, then it's not a great deal bar that one season. I really don't see it with him, too often goes missing for large parts of the season.

Sorry but no, Palmer has flashy moments but Saka is superior to him. Palmer has a long way to go, he does have the toolset to surpass Saka but yet to be seen.

Yeap, correct on all counts
