fecking hell. Just saw that we’ve been deducted points. Hopefully we can get points back. I’d hate to be relegated out of league football.
I did wonder if you'd seen it as you didn't mention it in the thread.

Big gap to close if you don't get any back.

Rangers are such a poor side.

Not taking credit away from St Mirren who currently lead them 1-0 at HT though.

Looking at their next 4 fixtures and the way they are playing, will not be surprised if they come out of those games with nothing:

Club Brugge (A) - CL playoff
Celtic (A)
Hearts (H)
Hibs (H) - League cup
The Brugge game the other night was comically bad.

Martin must give one hell of a powerpoint presentation. Awful manager.

Forget about Russel Martin being the first managerial casualty, Brendan Rodgers looks like he is going to be sacked before him or he will just walk away himself again. That embarrassing loss to a team from Kazakhstan has cost them millions now.

I thought Celtic and Rodgers had got over their European woes last season as they were unlucky to get knocked out by Bayern but this is so fecking embarrassing.

A truly rancid result.

I remember when fans of Celtic and rangers would say they couldn’t compete with European clubs from England Spain etc because of financial muscle and population.

They now apparently aren’t capable of beating teams from the Kazahkstan and Belgium.

What’s the excuse now?

Celtic have a net spend of about £30m over the last 5 years. Rangers about £2m.

Not sure what you're going for here, beyond an attempt at funny snark (failed).

Funny snark? It’s not funny at all bud. It’s embarrassing.

getting dumped out of Europe by Belgian and Kazakhstan clubs. That’s what I’m going for.. well not me. Celtic and rangers…

Interesting how nobody else slagging off rangers and Celtic was met with such a response by yourself, weird..

Scottish Football is in the dulldrums… No talent coming thru & Celtic & Rangers are both mediocre this year.

Rangers could well be 12 points behind if the lose Old Firm game & then to Hearts

Rangers manager gone?
Or will he get a few more weeks
He's survived solely because the credibility of the new owners is on the line.

But he's transformed us from a competitive team in Europe to an absolute shambles. He's taken our most promising and sellable assets and stuck them on the bench, probably knocking about £5m off each of their values. He's prioritised his signings, most of whom have been gash, and then had to resort to bringing on our better players to salvage the game. He's deployed a high line with three 20-year-olds in the defence who don't speak to each other and don't anticipate attacking movement. He's fallen out with half the squad.

I expected a few bumps on the road in shifting the style of play. But this is just chaos.

Sounds like he's a complete chancer.

Old Firm on Sunday will be interesting - could be a good time for Rangers to find a performance and get Martin a few more weeks.

Wow. Does he still have a nice beard at least?

First time both my teams - United and Hearts - have won on the same day in ages.
Both of my teams - United and Edinburgh City - won today. Can’t remember the last time that happened either. It’s been a good today results wise.

Hearts have had a really good start to the season, my dad will be happy.

Big Old Firm game coming up. Huge for Rangers. If they lose then the pressure is going to absolutely ramp up on Martin.

Half an hour in & I don’t think we have seen a single attempt on goal yet?

EDIT: We indeed have not
